Information about Adoption & Adoption Help
Who can apply to LifeLong Adoptions?
LifeLong Adoptions has fewer restrictions than most. We have no religious belief requirement. Families with biological children are welcome to apply. We work with Gay and Lesbian families and support LGBT adoption. The choice of adoptive families is made by the birthmother. We also work with couples who are “signed up” with another adoption agency/professional and have not had any luck yet. There is an age requirement of 25 years old.
How do we get accepted into the adoption program?
After filling out the free online application and submitting a photo, you will receive an email and packet of information. All clients who have been accepted must set up a free informational phone meeting. We only accept 4 couples per month.
Is LifeLong Adoptions a licensed agency?
LifeLong Adoptions is a facilitation company registered with the California Registry of Adoption Facilities. We may act as an intermediary between birthparents and adoptive couples.
Where do your babies come from?
Our birthparent program along with our vast, national network of hospitals, churches, physicians, crisis centers, the Internet, and attorneys. We network with associated professionals and by word-of-mouth. We are known for our aggressive nationwide advertising, marketing, and outreach campaigns.
Can we specify the sex of a child?
YES!!!! We now have a gender-specific program; with this program you may choose whether you are looking to adopt a baby boy or a baby girl.
What background and medical information will I receive on the birthmother?
The social worker will have the birthmother fill out medical forms and sign a release allowing the agency access to her medical records. The legal representative we refer you to is responsible for informing you of your legal rights and risks.
Can we reach you after hours and on the weekends?
LifeLong Adoptions is unique in that we provide our contracted families with a number of ways to contact us. We work all holidays to take calls from birthmothers; this is a time when most other organizations are closed. We strive to be consistently available for emergencies and birthmother calls on the weekends and evenings. This can be very important if your birthmother goes into labor after hours. We always have one of our trained professionals answering the phone. We have had many birthmothers place a child with one of our adoptive parents after telling us that we were the first actual human beings she spoke to, as opposed to calling answering service after answering service.
100% Free Application
Unlike others, our application is 100% free. Since we only work with a limited number of couples at a time, not everyone is accepted into our program and we believe you should not have to pay for us to review your application.
*As of May 20th we currently have 2 spots available.
