Dear Expectant Mother,
First, we want to thank you for considering us to raise your baby. We cannot imagine how difficult this decision is for you, and we are in awe of your bravery and so thankful for the opportunity to be a part of your life and the life of your child. We are blessed in so many ways and cannot wait to share our blessings with your baby.
We are excited to go on walks and play make believe and teach your baby that the sky's the limit, dreams do come true, and to understand the love of God. I love to bake cupcakes and cannot wait to have your little one standing next to me on a step-stool, apron on and spoon in hand, mixing ingredients and adding flour. Chad is excited to teach your baby about rock formations, our nation’s history, your lineage, and how we are all a part of each other. He cannot wait to have your baby exploring new places with him, teaching your baby how things work, and teaching your baby engineering secrets.
We cannot begin to tell you how excited we are to share our life and love with your baby. We have amazing families that have so much love to give, so your baby would have an amazing family to grow and learn from. Your baby will never, ever want for support or love.
We met at physical therapy after Chad tore his ACL and Aimee hurt her shoulder; had it not been for our accidents, we would never have met! Aimee is a nurse practitioner, and Chad is an environmental engineer. We are a fun-loving couple who are very playful with each other. We love to laugh, be silly, and spend time with family and friends. We are both outdoor people; any chance we get, we are out hiking, planting flowers, or just enjoying the sunshine! We love quick weekend trips camping or to local national parks to learn about our history and taste the local food. We also both like taking trips to the beach to visit some friends that have become family; the surf, sand, and sun are sometimes all we need to regroup!
We have a large home on seven acres that is just waiting for a child to play on full-time! We have a shallow wading pond that has tadpoles and a little fountain that is excited to be splashed in. We have an enchanted trail dubbed “Bigfoot Forest” by the family kids that is just waiting to be explored, and the mulch beds are waiting to be dug and turned into construction sites to build amazing cities and roads between the shrubs and flowers! Our kittens, Fin and Oliver, are also waiting for playmates to run with and be loved.
Our Extended Family
Aimee has a large extended family that loves welcoming new members. They are all super excited to decorate the tree on Christmas Eve. Camping trips in the summer at the cabin, playing in the creek, and swimming in Giggie and Pap’s pool are a must, not to mention learning to fix things with Pap and sewing with Giggie! Aimee’s sister is also so excited to be an aunt; she cannot wait to spoil your child with love and affection. She is excited for her kids to meet their cousin, and for them to spend weekends and evenings playing together and laughing.
Chad’s family is also excited to have a new member to teach how to dance, learn to garden, and just love and squeeze! Christmas Eve is a big deal, as we all get together and continue the family tradition of making perogies while decorating the tree. The family Fourth of July trip to the farm in Ohio to see everyone and pet a cow or climb on hay bails is also a fun tradition we never miss.
Everyone is so excited to welcome a new family member. We cannot think of a single person who is not over the moon about us adopting.
What Led Us To Adoption
We both wanted a big family and began trying to start our family as soon as we got married, but God had different plans for us! After much heartbreak and tears, we realized adoption is what God was leading us to. We love kids and can’t imagine not having that fun, love, and excitement in our lives. We have seen some of our friends adopt and have friends who are adopted, and all of them are so glad to be exactly where they are. We are excited to join them on this journey!
