Dear Expectant Mother,
The loving relationship we have built together will provide your baby with the foundation to feel safe, loved, and respected. As we prepare to start this journey with you, we can’t help but imagine holding your baby in our arms and hearing their heartbeat for the first time, taking our first family vacation to Disney World, going trick-or-treating, getting them a puppy for Christmas, helping with their school science projects, and so much more. When your baby takes his or her first steps, we will be there along with the rest of our family to cheer him or her on, and as your baby grows up, we will share our passion for adventure and education throughout their life.
We promise to give your baby every opportunity for happiness and success in life and to instill in them a sense of humility, gratitude, honesty, and respect. He or she will always have our shoulders to cry on, our arms to hug them, and our love to guide them through life’s toughest moments.
We do not know you yet, but we already have the utmost respect and gratitude for you because your selfless act of love will help us grow our family. Thank you for giving us the opportunity to share a piece of who we are.
We met about eight years ago while attending college in Texas and immediately felt that destiny had brought us together. With similar backgrounds, our friendship in college turned into a wonderful relationship that a few years later became our life commitment when we got married. We are supportive of each other’s dreams and aspirations and continuously communicate to better our marriage. We are loving, kind, compassionate, and loyal to one another. We also have a close relationship with our families and have a strong group of friends both of which support us in our journey of becoming parents. We are both mechanical engineers and have built successful careers working in the oil and gas industry. In our free time, we enjoy traveling, being outdoors, hosting game night, exercising, and watching our favorite TV shows.
We recently built a new and spacious home in our hometown in Texas. It has four bedrooms, two bathrooms, and an open living concept where we plan to install play mats and spend time playing with the baby. Our back yard is beautiful, and we know our child will make some good memories in it. Our home is a one-story home and has a large fireplace that we are sure will be the main stage for several shows as well as family photos. Our neighborhood is new and safe and has many families with kids around. Our families live within 10 minutes of us, and there are several parks nearby where we will take our child often to enjoy the playgrounds.
Our Extended Family
Our families have been our biggest supporters throughout the years we have been together, and seeing us move to the next chapter in our lives brings them joy. Alexander’s family is very close; he has a younger brother and sister, two nieces, and his parents, who live in the same town. Alexander is also close to his grandmother, who visits us annually. Alex has a younger brother, mom, two grandparents, two aunts, one uncle, and cousins, all of whom live in the same town as we do. Every year we take a family trip, visit the lake, host family game nights, and celebrate many birthdays.
Our home is always festive, decorated, and full of joy, especially during Halloween, Thanksgiving, and Christmas. It is our favorite time of the year, and we look forward to finding a cute costume for the baby, celebrating their first Thanksgiving with all the family, and seeing their wide eyes when they open their Christmas gifts.
What Led Us To Adoption
Since we started our relationship, we knew that having children was an aspiration we both shared. The thought of having a little one grabbing our fingers with their small hands and taking their first steps brought us joy. We considered surrogacy, met with a foster agency, and ultimately found that adoption was best for our family. We feel that through adoption, not only can we accomplish one of our lives’ biggest goals but we can also provide a mother the peace of mind that her baby will be taken care of by a loving family.
