Dear Expectant Mother,
We feel incredibly humbled and honored that you are considering us as part of your life journey and thinking about giving us the gift of adopting your child. While we cannot begin to imagine how this feels for you, we can say with certainty that you are brave and strong for considering adoption. We can also say with absolute certainty that we will love your child unconditionally and respect them for everything that they are.
We pledge to raise your child in a warm and welcoming home that is filled with love, laughter, hugs, and many new and continuing family traditions. We will cook s'mores over a campfire, have family barbecues, go on endless outdoor adventures, travel to as many new places as we can, and create many more memories with our two fur-babies, who are ready to be the best big sisters anyone could ask for. Most of all, we will grant your child unconditional love. We will give your child every ounce of our time and energy. We will encourage them them to grow and become the person they want to be and achieve every dream they can imagine. We will make sure their only limitation is the imagination they haven’t thought of yet.
We thank you for considering our profile and getting a little taste of us. We are grateful for the opportunity to be part of your life journey. We hope you can see the love, laughter, and stability our home can provide for your child. Whatever your decision may be, please know that you and your family are in our thoughts.
Kim is the “builder” to Alexx’s “bookworm.” Alexx works as a surgical nurse,, supporting patients through some of the scariest moments of their lives, and Kim works in manufacturing, but her true passion is photography. When Kim’s not helping others, she will be found outside on a hiking trail, camera in hand. Kim has never turned down a Pinterest project Alexx dreams up, and Alexx can always be found with a book in hand, swinging in the hammock in the backyard. Alexx and Kim are strong and dedicated, filled with love for each other, and for their growing family.
We live in a vibrant little community in southeast Wisconsin. It is a historic town and is home to many old buildings, family shops, and a unique charm. We live in a quaint brick house close to downtown and frequently walk to Friday night concerts in the park, town festivals, and community events. Our favorite part of the house is our deck. We can be found there grilling dinner with vegetables picked fresh from our garden almost every night in the summertime. Alexx creates the recipes and Kim executes perfection on the grill, while our dogs, Faith and Brooke, impatiently wait for us to drop something.
Our Extended Family
While our families know that we planned to adopt a baby “someday,” we haven’t told them we’ve started the process! We are so excited to surprise them with a beautiful baby soon! They will be over the moon with happiness to welcome a new child into our family, especially during the annual family reunion and beloved holiday traditions!
Alexx’s favorite holiday is Halloween. Each year, she takes the entire family to the zoo, dressed up in matching costumes to listen to music and see the decorations. Kim’s favorite holiday is Christmas. Each year, we choose a day to cut down our own tree, put up decorations, and bake cookies with our family. We are so excited to to include a baby in our family traditions and create new traditions as our family grows.
What Led Us To Adoption
Over the last few years we have been foster parents. It has brought us such joy and happiness to be there for a family in need and help them through an incredibly tough journey. The sounds of a baby’s laughter filling our home is one of the best feelings in the world. While we love fostering and giving our whole hearts to every child that has come through our door, we decided it was time for our family to grow permanently. We discussed adoption from the beginning of our relationship, a few months ago, something clicked; we knew it was time. From that moment, we have dedicated all of our energy to adoption.
