Dear Expectant Mother,
Thank you for considering us in your search for adoptive parents! In this time of uncertainty, we pray that you will find peace and clarity. We cannot imagine how difficult this decision is for you, but rest assured that we are here to encourage and support you in any way that you need.
If given the honor of being chosen to parent your baby, he or she will have our unconditional love and support. We will provide your baby with life's best opportunities, such as an excellent college education, and encourage him or her to pursue their personal interests and talents. Whether they enjoy ballet or baseball, we will support their participation and be in the audience, rain or shine. Most importantly, we commit to providing a home that teaches the value of God and family.
We are so excited to share our summer and holiday traditions with your baby and to take them to Hawaii to meet our family and learn the hula! Your selfless act will be admired and talked about often in our home. We look forward to keeping you involved in our family to whatever extent you feel comfortable with. We cannot thank you enough for viewing our profile, and we hope to hear from you soon!
Brian is a pilot who enjoys aviation, cooking, and hiking. He loves to go fishing and is also an experienced snowboarder. Courtney is a registered nurse who specializes in both Labor and Delivery and Neonatal Intensive Care (NICU). She loves caring for newborns at her job, vacations on the beach, and new adventures while traveling. We have been friends since childhood, because our parents were also childhood friends who remained close as adults. Brian’s parents are actually Courtney’s godparents! Over the years, our friendship grew, and we fell in love during college and got engaged after graduating. We had a beautiful sunset wedding on a Hawaiian beach, surrounded by our closest family and friends. We feel that knowing each other since childhood, and having our extended family remain close friends, has only strengthened our love for one another.
We live in a safe, suburban, gated community with a beautiful fenced-in backyard, which is perfect for afternoons in the sun or barbecuing with friends. Our little Yorkshire Terrier, Chloe, is often found there, chasing birds or sunbathing. Our neighborhood is welcoming, and many families here are close friends. One specific reason we chose our home was the outstanding school district in which it is located. Additionally, we live next to a nature preserve with a beautiful lake and zoo. We often spend weekends there as a family, swimming and hiking with our dog and packing a picnic lunch!
Our Extended Family
We have family and friends scattered throughout the country, which makes for many yearly trips. One of our favorite annual vacations is traveling to Hawaii, where several of our friends and family members live. We spend time swimming, hiking, sightseeing, and island-hopping. One of the highlights is attending the local Luau and watching the children learn the hula.
Other traditions include trips home for the holidays, which are great opportunities for all the kids to play and for the adults to catch up. Our parents love spending this time with all of their grandchildren under one roof! Since we live in the South and our parents are up North, it’s also exciting to see snow again. We laugh endlessly and take lots of pictures! We look forward to these events each year, and we are excited to share each adventure with our expanded family.
What Led Us To Adoption
We have always had a special place in our hearts for adoption, even after the birth of our oldest son, because it is how several members of our immediate family came to join us. We also have a large extension of relatives who believe that family is defined by love and commitment, not just by blood. Our dream of having a second child was put on hold, as we struggled through several years of infertility and unsuccessful treatments. In 2018, we were finally blessed with a second baby boy. We absolutely love being parents, and are excited to expand our family!
