Dear Expectant Mother,
Let me start by saying that I cannot begin to imagine how you are feeling right now. The stress and anxiety have to be overwhelming, but I commend you for your strength and your courage to go through this journey. Just know I am here with you every step of the way. I want to thank you for considering me to love and raise your baby. Please know that your baby will grow up in a loving and strong family.
Your baby will be around a family that has strong roots, and your baby will experience plenty of love, laughter, happiness, joy, and faith. He or she will learn the value of love, how to be respectful, and how to be strong and courageous, just like you. He or she will also learn to develop a relationship with God, which is so important in my family.
I want you to be worry-free knowing your baby will be loved and cared for just as if you were loving and caring for him or her yourself. Again, I want to thank you for considering allowing me to go on this journey with you.
I am a God-fearing woman who loves spending time with my family. I enjoy playing with my dog, Kae, and traveling home to spend time with my parents, my sister and her family, and a host of other family members. I am a full-time pharmacist and business owner with my sister. I enjoy having a great time dancing and enjoying good food. I also love using my creative mind in arts and craft and sewing. I enjoy traveling, baking, painting, drawing, and good music as well. I am a proud aunt of three nieces and one nephew. I am also a godmother of two girls and one boy. I love children and finding different ways to have fun learning with them.
I own a three-bedroom home that I share with my dog, Kae. It has a beautiful sunroom where I can enjoy the natural light and just relax and watch TV. I also have a very spacious back yard where there is plenty of room to run around and play. My neighborhood is a quiet one where Kae and I like to walk to get good exercise and fresh air. Kae is a very playful five-year-old rat terrier. He loves visitors, cuddling, and playing with his toys.
My Extended Family
My parents have been married for over 30 years, and I am the youngest of two girls. My sister is married with three girls and a stepson. My family is very close, and we do everything together every chance we get.
One thing I love about my family is that we will do an occasional Saturday breakfast. We also love to cook together for the holidays. Another fun tradition is our pajama and cookie decorating parties every Christmas. Throughout the year, we have a family gathering every weekend and celebrate with grand birthday parties for the kids.
I know I can always count on my family. I can call my family at any time, and they will be there. My family is just as excited as I am in anticipation of an adoption and a new member of our family.
What Led Me To Adoption
My desire was always to have my first child by 30 years old. Unfortunately, that didn’t happen. I prayed about adoption and soon felt that God was telling me it was time to take that step. I look forward to holding a tiny baby in my arms and teaching, supporting, and loving him or her every day. I yearn for that special feeling a mother gets when she sees her baby’s first smile or sees that child’s first steps. I am looking forward to giving a baby the world and starting our own traditions.
