Dear Expectant Mother,
We are honored that you have chosen to read our letter and admire you for choosing an adoption plan for your baby. It takes a considerable amount of trust to let others care for a child that you’ve brought into this world. It goes without saying that this is not only a difficult, but personal decision.
We can only imagine how you must feel and we give you our word that we will offer our unconditional love, and full support as well as a safe and stable home. Your child will have many opportunities for a happy and fulfilling life and most of all; he or she will be loved.
In closing, we want you to know that we look forward to providing love, opportunities and adventures to your child, should we be fortunate enough to adopt.
We met in 2005 in Phoenix, AZ, went on one date and knew that we had both met our forever partner. We got married in 2008 and are still going strong. We now live in western Pennsylvania. Maury is an HR vice president with a major energy provider. Chris is a certified elementary school teacher.
We believe work/life balance is essential and love spending time with friends and family. We can always be found doing something around the house whether it is working outside in the yard or simply watching reruns of our favorite TV shows. Quality time is important to us.
Our house has 4 bedrooms, 4 bathrooms and a finished basement and is large enough to accommodate family and friends. We have two English bulldogs, Fiona and Pippa with which we share our home and lives. We also have a newly landscaped fenced backyard with a deck and plenty of space for playing and grilling out.
Our community has a new park with a large play structure and swings and is only minutes away from a very large recreational park that offers many activities. We are also extremely proud to live in one of the highest rated school districts in western Pennsylvania.
Our Extended Family
We both come from very dynamic families. We both have siblings and nieces and nephews. We come from families that are founded on love, honesty, communication, and support. Our families have been supportive of our relationship and the many new traditions and memories that we have created for ourselves.
We like to travel and are always sure to buy a refrigerator magnet that represents the cities that we have visited, a visual reminder of our vacation. One of our favorite things to do is to go sailing in California with our friends. Birthdays and Christmas are very special to us as well. We love meeting up with friends from California and Texas to celebrate together.
What Led Us To Adoption
We always believed welcoming a child would enhance our lives.
Our best friends have two adopted boys with whom we are very close. After experiencing their process we decided that it was now time to take the next step in our lives and to adopt.
Adoption for us means having enough love in our hearts to share with a child. We feel that now is the time for us to find that one special child who we can love and share our lives with.
