Dear Expectant Mother,
The decision you’re considering is one that takes courage, strength, and an enormous amount of love, and I want you to know I will never take your decision for granted.
I will cherish your child and provide a life full of unconditional love that allows him or her to develop into their own person. My home will be financially secure and stable, with guidance and support. Your child will grow up surrounded by family and friends that will welcome them into their hearts. I am excited to give them opportunities to travel and explore the world and many events that will enrich their life experience.
Wherever your journey leads, I hope you know there are no words to convey just how much your sacrifice means. You will be in my thoughts as you make this decision of picking the right family for your child. If it’s meant to be, it will be.
I work as an Analytics Manager for a financial services company. My job provides me with stability and financial security, which allows me to do things I never thought possible growing up; plus, I get to work from home, which means I can finally make my dream of having a family come true. Growing up in a low-income family made me appreciate the few things I had, mostly time with family. I have been to many different countries, and almost every state in the US. Traveling doesn’t have to be far, as there are things even close to home. Traveling is a huge passion of mine and something I can’t wait to show a child. I also enjoy attending sporting events, movies, museums, camping, boating, just being outside or relaxing at home and spending time with family and friends.
I own a house in a large city that is culturally diverse. It is a three-bedroom home with a nice family room, as well as a room that would make the perfect nursery; I am ready and so excited for a child to use it! I have a fenced yard, with the front having grass and gardens and the backyard a large patio area perfect for barbecues. My neighborhood is a friendly one, with a park and playground just a block away, and just a mile away is a zoo and aquarium, a beach with a waterfront, and the second largest city park in the country. There are many cultural events that happen in the city and museums, with rotating exhibits nearby. I can’t wait to show a child all the experiences around town!
My Extended Family
My parents have been married for over 40 years and live within walking distance. I also have a younger brother, who lives less than a mile away. He is married, and my niece just celebrated her first birthday. We enjoy getting together at least monthly, as well as holidays and special occasions.
My parents come from large families, so our get-togethers often include numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins. Most of my extended family lives nearby, and I routinely see my family around town. Christmas Eve is spent with my dad’s side of the family with over 50 in attendance! I have fond memories of being with all my cousins (about 20 of them!), laughing and just catching up. Now, all the cousins have kids of their own, and I can’t wait to add to the family.
My best friend’s family is considered my “Bonus” family, and every Sunday we have family dinner at the parents’ house. We all eat at the table, and this has made me value family dinner time, a tradition I would like to continue with my child. Everyone is excited and ready to welcome a new child into our large family!
What Led Me To Adoption
I have always known that adoption was how I would fulfill my dream of raising a child, as genetics has never played a part in my love of others. As far back as I can remember, I have envisioned being a mother. I look forward to showing that dreams can come true!
I have been able to build a successful career that allows me to work from home. My life is stable and I have an amazing support system. I have so much love to give, and I am ready to start on the journey of parenthood.
