Dear Expectant Mother,
We first wish to commend you on considering this courageous step! We can only begin to imagine how tough the decisions you currently face are, yet we are happy that you are here and honored that you have taken the time to read our profile. It is because of your bravery that we may be given the opportunity to explore the greatest blessing of our lives, the blessing of parenthood.
Our faith assures us that this path was destined for it, and it has led us to you. It is our hope that as you learn a little about us, you will see us as the best possible parents for your baby. We are a caring, family-oriented couple with an amazing and extensive network of supportive family and friends. We have been blessed to travel to different parts of the world and experience different people and cultures. However, the greatest blessing would be to become parents. We want to assure you that we will do everything in our power to be the best possible role models for your baby.
Thank you for your time and for considering us as adoptive parents. We have so much love to share and are ready to be parents to your precious gift, your baby.
Excitement is the first word that comes to mind when describing how we feel about parenthood. We met in Miami, Florida and have been married for five years. Damian works as a Regional Sales Engineer, and Eryn works as a Senior Client Service Representative for a financial company but previously worked as a preschool teacher. We are caring and fun-loving people who enjoy spending time with our family and friends; traveling to exciting, new places; and meeting new people. Together, we love going to amusement parks, zoos, aquariums, festivals, and museums, and we love watching movies and spending time with our cuddly dog, Gia. Family is at the core of who we are as a couple, and we are so enthusiastic about expanding!
In 2015, we were fortunate to purchase our first home, a three-bedroom house in a friendly, family-oriented sub-division in Northern Illinois. Top-notch schools and access to parks were top priorities when we began house hunting, so our home is located in one of the best school districts in the entire state and is nearby a few parks, a children’s museum, and beautiful trails. Our neighborhood has many families with children, and watching them play together every day is truly humbling. Gia is our furry baby, and she is oh-so-cute and cuddly! We cannot wait to share our beautiful home with your little one.
Our Extended Family
We are both truly blessed that our families are very much involved in our lives. Our families are all very close! Our parents, as well as our sisters (both of us have older sisters) are always visiting our home, so we have been blessed with a family structure that allows us to do many things collectively.
Our families enjoy vacations and it has become a tradition to take a collective vacation once a year. This is usually a cruise! We have all visited Mexico, Italy, Greece, France, Spain, and other Caribbean Islands together! Holidays and birthdays are also very important and we make it our business to spend them together. Our extended families include our grandmothers, aunts, uncles and cousins, with whom we both have very close relationships. Family is so essential to who we are as a couple and we cannot wait to share the overwhelming love that we have been so blessed to receive.
What Led Us To Adoption
We both knew before we got married how much we wanted to expand our existing families. Shortly after getting married, we tried to do just that, but unfortunately, we were met with fertility issues. After suffering two miscarriages and two losses, we are even more determined to become parents and expand our families. We have been so blessed to be able to share our love and desire to expand our family with our immediate and extended family and friends. We have been reassured, through our faith and love of family, that adoption is the right path for us.
