We would like to begin by expressing our admiration for the strength it takes on your behalf to consider adoption for your baby. It is a courageous and selfless decision, and we would be honored to be considered as parents for your child. It is our hope to provide you with a picture of what life with our family would be like for your baby.
We hope by reading about us and seeing our photos you will get an impression of who we are, where we live, what we do, and why we believe adopting your baby would be our dream come true. We are happily married and enjoy being active, spending time with family and friends, and traveling as often as we can. We enjoy our life together and dream of expanding our family through adoption.
We will take care of your child with all our love and support. We want to express our deepest respect for the decision you are making for the future of your child. We can only imagine the overwhelming task of selecting a potential adoptive family, and we thank you from the bottom of our hearts for considering us in your search for the right family to love and cherish your child.
George is originally from the chocolate capital of the world, Hershey, PA. Jordan grew up in Colmar, PA, a small suburban town outside of Philly. We come from large, loving, and supportive families who we often spend time with. We are hard working individuals striving for success in order to provide a loving and stable environment for our family. George has spent his career in education, both as a special education teacher in many public school districts and now as Director of Special Education and Student Services. Jordan has worked in engineering-based sales throughout the Mid-Atlantic. We enjoy spending time together with family through traveling, gatherings, and weekend activities, including camping, fishing, hiking, and other fun adventures.
Located outside of Philly, we live in a diverse, family-friendly, suburban neighborhood with many walking trails and open space areas. We purchased our home a little over two years ago and renovated it in anticipation of expanding our family. We are very much into home design, often redesigning the interior of the home and working outside with landscaping activities. Our home is 3000+ square feet, including a finished basement and fenced-in backyard. Our home consists of four bedrooms; plenty of room to welcome an addition to the family! We take pride in our home and love hosting gatherings with family and friends.
Our Extended Family
Family is an important part of our lives. We are a large, very diverse family with many varying ethnicities, cultures, and traditions, including Hispanic, German/Dutch, and African American roots. The culmination of these differences makes for many entertaining family gatherings. Our families are founded in Christianity, with many beliefs and traditions that, together, have helped shape our own family.
During extended holidays, we spend our time either hosting or traveling to celebrate. We regularly plan annual extended family vacations and often spend weekends together playing board games, watching movies, or enjoying each other’s company at dinner. Our children will be loved by many aunts, uncles, grandparents, great grandparents, cousins, and close family friends.
Our Adoption Story
Being raised in large families, filled with love and support, we always knew we wanted to adopt. Our home is a stable, loving, supportive. and fun-filled environment. We have embraced the many adventures in raising our current son and are excited to continue to expand our family through adoption. After researching many options and agencies, we decided that this pathway would help a birthmother fulfill her desire to provide a stable home for her child and our dreams to become parents.
