We want to start this letter by thanking and honoring you! You truly are a selfless person. We can’t even begin to understand the courage it takes to consider this route. We can’t thank you enough. Since we started talking about children about 10 years ago, we knew that the adoption process was always something that was right for us. Jaime’s mom was adopted so she has always had that connection. We are excited that you are giving us the opportunity to complete our family.
One thing we can promise you is that your child will be surrounded by a very loving family. We can also promise that their life will be full of adventure and memories, along with strength, encouragement and support for them to grow up to be a successful individual. We are excited to take this journey with you.
Thank you so much for considering us to raise your child. I hope we get to know each other and grow together so you feel confident that your decision was the right one for all involved in raising your precious child.
With loving gratitude,
Jaime and Greg
We have been married since 2007. As a couple, we love to travel and spend time with our families and friends. Greg is a pilot who travels internationally while also working as a flight simulator instructor for his company. Greg enjoys real estate. He got his real estate license in 2011 and is a Realtor. Jaime decided to get her real estate license to help out when Greg is out of town and is also a Realtor. Jaime’s main passion is education so she is a Reading Specialist at a local school district, as well as an instructor for an online university.
We live in a 4 bedroom split level house in AZ with a sunken family room, which makes our house very cozy. Our neighborhood is filled with families and many school age children. In the evening our neighbors are always outside playing and hanging out. We have an 11 year old dog named Baxter who is a Chihuahua/Daschund mix or so the pound thought when we rescued him. He is great around kids and loves to cuddle and snuggle under his blankies!
Our Family Traditions
Our family is super important to both of us. We love to have family gatherings as often as we can and normally they happen at our house. Jaime comes from a family of 5 with 2 older brothers. Greg comes from a family of 6, where he has 2 older brothers and an older sister. Most of our family lives close by so we are fortunate to see them often. Our families are also close outside of us, both of our parents get together on their own! Every year we have an annual Christmakah celebration, since Jaime’s family is Jewish and Greg’s family is Catholic. The whole family looks forward to this each year where we celebrate each other with good food and always a white elephant gift exchange.
What Led Us To Adoption
Adoption is always something we talked about early on in the discussion to start our family. Jaime always knew she wanted to adopt a baby, as her mother was adopted at birth as well. Keeping this in mind, we knew this was in our cards as we struggled to conceive on our own when first trying to start a family. After many years of being unsuccessful at having children we ended up going through in vitro fertilization (IVF) process and now have twin boys. With love and excitement, we know it is finally time for us to complete our family via adoption.
