Dear Expectant Mother,
We cannot imagine what you are going through and thinking. Your heart must be torn on what to do! We are praying for you! It is an awesome responsibility to make this decision, and we are honored and humbled that you may consider us to raise your child. We would consider it a true blessing to parent your child. Please know that we would teach your baby good family values. We can provide a stable, loving, and happy home. We want him or her to know both English and Spanish from an early age, and he or she will travel to Colombia to see grandparents, aunts, uncles, cousins, and many friends. At Christmas, we will bake cookies and teach him or her the meaning of Christmas. At Thanksgiving, we will teach your child to be thankful for all of the blessings we have.
Your child will get a good education from the elementary school around the corner and have the opportunity to go to college. The main goal is for them to grow up knowing that they are loved so they can pursue their dreams and make the most out of life. We look forward to seeing them grow up, excel, and build a life of their own. They will always know that we love them unconditionally and have their best interest at heart. We would be honored to raise your child if you choose us. God bless you!
A chance meeting changed our lives forever! Jim is from Texas, and Luis is originally from Colombia. We met while Luis was on vacation and had an immediate connection. That meeting led to travel back and forth before we decided to marry and settle down in Texas. Jim is a market president for a Texas bank and enjoys working with business owners, real estate investors, and consumers. Luis is an independent artist with an eye for quality and design. He works with stone carving, metal works, and interior design and uses his business background while working with art. We are a loving couple that enjoys time at home with friends and family, travel, dining out, and shopping. Luis is an excellent cook, and Jim loves to eat! We are excited to teach your child to cook, love, learn, travel, and live life to the fullest!
Our home has four bedrooms and three baths and is located in a quiet and secure neighborhood in Texas. The house is made for playing with toys, reading books, exercise, and time with family. We have an active homeowners association that has many events for the families in our neighborhood. The annual Easter egg hunt, Halloween trick or treating, and family picnics are events that we look forward to! The neighborhood also has its own park where we can take your child to play on the slide or swing or to play soccer and tennis. We have two dogs (Arthur and Roxie) and two cats (Cali and Atun) that love to play and are very friendly.
Our Extended Family
Both of us come from families that love and support each other. Luis’s family is in Colombia, and we travel there several times per year for Christmas, New Year’s, or other family events. All of Luis’s sisters are very excited for us and cannot wait for the adoption. They have offered to come to Texas to help us with the new baby. Luis’s dad cannot wait for the new baby and will be here as soon as possible to meet the baby.
Jim’s family is in Texas, and we get together often for birthdays, Christmas, and all of the holidays to celebrate. Thanksgiving is one of the favorite holidays, and we make it a point to get together and celebrate. We also are excited to take them to family Easter gatherings, where we play games, hunt eggs, and celebrate. We enjoy each other’s company, and Jim’s sisters, brother, and parents could not be happier.
Your baby will love being the newest family member and could not be more loved. He or she will have many cousins, aunts, uncles, grandparents, and numerous friends (that are really family) to love them.
What Led Us To Adoption
We talked about adoption on our first date and have always known that we wanted to be parents. Many friends and family have been adopted, and we have seen first hand how rewarding it can be for a family. Jim was adopted at age four, which gave him the opportunity to have more grandparents, aunts, and uncles and a new dad! We explored several options on how to grow our family and have decided that adopting a baby is the best option. We want to give a child truly unconditional love! Along with love, we will mix in a lot of laughter, education, and a stable home environment. There are many family members and friends that are waiting on the new family member.
