Thank you for taking the time to look at our pictures and read through our profile. We hope you find comfort at the glimpse you’ve gotten into our lives. You must be overwhelmed by the surreal experience of considering an adoption plan and choosing someone to take care of your most precious gift.
As for us, we are a fun loving couple that is very devoted to each other, our son, and our small four-legged "daughter" (affectionately referred to by my parents as the Granddog). There has never been a question for either of us that we wanted to be Dads one day, long before we met each other. We can guarantee you that your child will be entering a home that will be filled with boundless love, caring, smiles, and laughs. We love each other, and you better believe we will fiercely love your little baby.
Thank you for taking the time to get to know us and for considering us as adoptive parents for your precious baby.
We are Cade and Jeff. We met eight years ago while at a non-profit fundraiser, and we haven't looked back since. We quickly discovered a common love for travel, sports, and a desire to have a family. We have always wanted to be fathers and have a large family. We were married five years ago in Massachusetts, and just under three years later we adopted our son, Riley. We both grew up with siblings. It was only a matter of time before we started our next adventure: finding a younger brother or sister for our son and once again brightening our lives tremendously.
We live in a quiet neighborhood in Colorado. Home is a large beautiful sanctuary with large flower and vegetable gardens. We have a nice private backyard where our son loves pushing his trucks around the house and yard.
Our neighborhood offers great shops, markets, and restaurants within walking distance. More importantly to us, we are close to an elementary school in the best district in the state and less than a block from a large park filled with playground equipment and lots of walking paths.
Our Extended Family
We have been lucky enough to have the flexibility in our work to travel quite frequently. We are a family that really likes to travel. We regularly visit our families for holidays, reunions, or just because. Family is very important to us. Both our families are excited and supportive of us growing our family and are looking forward to a new little one joining in our traditions.
Jeff's family lives in his childhood hometown in Minnesota, where his parents work and run around playing with their grandchildren. His sister and her husband live on a farm about 25 miles out of town, where they are raising their four daughters and a wide variety of animals. Cade's family lives in his childhood hometown in Wyoming, near Yellowstone National Park. His parents are retired and live next door to his brother and sister-in-law. They are raising two boys and a girl. All together we have seven nieces and nephews from ages six to eighteen.
What Led Us To Adoption
Having adopted once, we saw our home swell with love and pride for our fantastic little son. We are so grateful to our son’s birthmother for giving us the opportunity to be parents. Even in the days when we were first dating, we always joked about starting a big family. We would laugh about our pretend triplets and all the fun we’d have with them. As we got a bit older and eventually married, it was always in the background that what used to be something to chuckle about was indeed what we always wanted in the first place. Having been surrounded by our growing extended family for so long, we want to add more love to our own family.
