Dear Expectant Mother,
You are very brave, and we have so much respect for you and the choice you’re considering. We cannot even begin to convey how impressive it is that you are making such a selfless decision. If it is meant to be that you choose us, we will be eternally grateful.
We can’t wait to include your child in everything we do, from breakfast in the mornings to holidays as they come through the year. We have so much love to give, and we cannot wait to share it with your child as they grow and experience all of the joys and challenges this life has to offer them. They will succeed in everything they pursue, because we will support them no matter what.
Thank you again for taking the time to read our letter.
We want to thank you for taking the time to learn a little about us, and most importantly, we want you to know that we have the utmost respect for you in considering adoption. We are an upbeat couple who would love the opportunity to share our joy with a child and give them a peaceful and positive environment. We have been together for eleven years, happily married for eight! Dio is in the insurance business, and in his spare time, he is an avid surfer. Jenna is a designer working in the family company, and she has a passion for cooking. Our favorite family day would be one at the beach, followed by cooking at home.
We live in a suburb fifteen minutes from the beach in one of the safest cities in the country. Our neighborhood is filled with children outside playing and families walking their dogs. We are a quick walk to the elementary, middle and high schools, which have all been rated amongst the top in the country as well. Our city is multicultural, which is one of our favorite things about living here. We are also surrounded by many parks. If we aren’t spending time with our family, we’re definitely at the beach or the park having a picnic with our dog, Muffin.
Our Extended Family
We are very family-oriented. Dio is an only child, born and raised about an hour-and-a-half from our current residence. He is very close to his parents, and we visit them at least once a month. Jenna is the middle of three girls, and her parents live fifteen minutes away.
We are all a very close family and we see each other often, especially since we all work together. We are always meeting up for family gatherings or to transport Jenna’s entire family to visit Dio’s parents for swimming and grilling. We can’t wait to include a child in our family gatherings, whether it be a birthday, holiday, or just because; we really love to all get together and celebrate.
What Led Us To Adoption
We have never considered any other path than adoption. Jenna’s best childhood friend was adopted by a wonderful couple and given an amazing and happy life; this planted the first seed. Over the years, we have both known many people who were adopted or who have adopted a child, and we have seen nothing but happiness on all sides. It was a very clear and easy decision for us to choose adoption to create our family unit, as we believe every child is a gift from God. We both feel that now is the perfect time to start this journey.
