It’s an honor to write to you and share our lives and hearts with you. We can’t imagine what you’re going through, and we want to thank you for giving us this opportunity to get to know you. It takes bravery, courage, and strength to consider us to raise your beautiful baby.
We hope you will give us a chance to raise your child and provide the best possible life we can offer. Sasha understands what it means to be adopted and she is truly grateful. She couldn’t be happier. Joanna has learned so much from Sasha about adoption and how beautiful it is. As a birth mother, your love for your child is so deep. Thank you for considering placing him or her with our family. We would be blessed and honored to raise him or her!
If we are chosen to raise your child, it would be our greatest joy, honor, and blessing.
Hello, our names are Joanna and Sasha. We met at the YMCA gym about five years ago and have been married for almost four years. Joanna was supposed to meet her sister-in-law to work out, but unbeknownst to her, she had also invited Sasha. Joanna was immediately drawn to her and knew she had to ask her out. Joanna asked Sasha to go to lunch and she said yes. The rest is history.
We have a committed and dedicated marriage and a lasting love for each other. We respect one another’s goals and dreams. We make a great team and have a beautiful partnership.
We opened a school for children with autism. We provide services and therapies designed for each student to get the best learning experience. We genuinely have a vested interest in children’s lives and being positive role models for them.
Our home is a single story with three bedrooms, a library, two-and-a-half bathrooms and a swimming pool. After saving up, we built our home in 2016 and found the perfect layout to raise our family.
We love animals, especially dogs, and look forward to having a family-friendly dog to raise with our child. We had a friendly and loving dog that passed away almost two years ago, and we hadn’t felt it was the right time to get a new furbaby, at least until we adopt a child. It’ll be exciting to have a family pet that we can make amazing memories with our family.
Our Extended Family
Sasha was adopted at the age of two and grew up with her two sisters and her parents. Her parents have been married for 33 years. Joanna grew up with eight brothers, and she’s the only girl. Her parents have been married for 45 years. We have been fortunate to see lasting and committed relationships and want to provide that security to our family as well.
We enjoy spending time with our parents and siblings. We enjoy making memories. It’s a tradition to decorate for Halloween, Fall/Thanksgiving and Christmas each year. Those are our favorite holidays to celebrate and truly spending time with family and friends. We also enjoy the annual Fourth of July firework display, which we can watch from the park in our neighborhood. We look forward to having a little one join our family and traditions.
What Led Us To Adoption
We have desired to become parents for several years and wanted to provide the best life we could for our family. We knew we needed to be financially ready. We are ready now and know we can offer a stable and loving environment for an adopted child. Our hearts are open and ready to invite a beautiful child into our home.
As our adoption journey began, we were in the process of becoming foster-care licensed and wanted to foster-adopt. But we knew that it would hurt so much if we bonded with a child and yet it wouldn’t be possible to adopt him or her. Instead, we talked about it together and decided that adoption is the best option for us to start our family. We want to be able to provide the best experience for a child if we are given the opportunity.
