First off, we want to thank you for even considering us as parents for your child. Although we may not feel the emotions that you may be faced with in this decision, we do know the emotions and feelings of giving the child his/her best chances in life. We will never give up on your child and make sure that your child will succeed in life. That is the one thing we can promise you if you choose us as parents for your child.
Although it may be hard to tell you not to worry, as you probably always will as a mother, we will do our best to help you go through this process as we are in it together. We hope that you will find our hearts worthy of your child’s love. We would be more than happy to speak with you to confirm that this is a possible choice for you.
You are not alone.
John works for the government as a web content and usability analyst, and Sophear works in private sector as a supervisor that leads a team of data professionals. We have been together for over 10 years and have been officially married for 2 years. We are a couple that loves to instill onto others the passion to succeed and never to give up. We bought our first home together early in our relationship and bought our second home in hopes of growing our family. We both love to spend time with each other, and often travel 4 hours every month to go see our godson. We love to craft, fish, create family videos, watch movies, sing, and enjoy life as much as possible!
We purchased our most recent home last year because we wanted to have a nice home for our future child. Our home is approximately 2,400 square feet, with 4 bedrooms, 2 living areas, 2.5 bathrooms, two-car garage, and a small front yard. We have two Rat Terrier Chihuahua mix dogs that were rescued at birth. They are fully trained, and one of them even helps do laundry from time to time!
Our Extended Family
Our best friends are part of our extended family. Our immediate family lives out of the state, and we don’t get to see them frequently. Often when we travel to see any of them, we tend to do some event planning, whether that’s more traveling, or even just spending time together at a park picnicking. We have a great relationship with them, and they are always excited and happy to see us when we visit. As our nephews and nieces would say, “When you guys come, the family becomes a ‘family’”.
Currently, we do not share any traditions but we are excited to create new traditions with our future child.
What Led Us To Adoption
Our best friends had their first child, and thought that we would make great parents. We have watched our godson grow up so fast and at almost 3 years old, we knew time was flying by, and that it was time to grow our own family. So we started planning and now have one bedroom already dedicated for our future child.
