Dear Expectant Mother,
We would like to thank you for taking the time to review our profile. If you choose us as parents, we will give your baby the best life any child could ask for. Your child will be brought into a loving, caring, and nurturing family. He or she will be the center of our attention and will grow up knowing the love their daddies and extended family have for them. Your child will be given every opportunity to grow up to be whoever they want to be, knowing they have their parents’ support along the way. We will be there every step of the way, providing the love and support your baby needs to accomplish his or her dreams.
Considering us to be parents for your baby allows us to create traditions, embark on adventures, and create memories to share with our family. We can envision your child running into our room on Christmas Day at the crack of dawn, because they noticed Santa Claus came last night; trick-or-treating with our little Superman or Princess on Halloween night, and taking your baby on adventures to experience the wonders this world has to offer.
From the bottom of our hearts, we thank you for taking the time to consider us as parents for your baby, and we look forward to hearing from you soon.
We have known each other for many years, and although our first date didn’t go according to plan, every date after was perfect! We married in October of 2018 and now live in St. Louis, where we own a beautiful, recently renovated home. In our spare time, we enjoy surrounding ourselves with family and friends or spending quiet time at home reading a book or working on little projects. Matthew is a captain for a regional airline and holds the title of Manager of Standards, which means he is in charge of ensuring pilots in the company fly in a standard manner to ensure every passenger is afforded the highest level of safety when traveling by air. Joshua is a Regional Manager for a rapidly growing urgent care company and is in charge of the daily operations of each center and overall customer and employee satisfaction.
Our home is warm and inviting. We own a three-bedroom, two-bath, ranch-style home that we recently renovated, located on a quiet cul-de-sac. We have a large, fenced backyard where we enjoy spending time, and our dogs, Ava and Piper, enjoy running around chasing squirrels. The area around our home includes several parks, walking trails, and great schools. With family not far from us, there are many opportunities to spend time with cousins, aunts, uncles, and grandparents. We also have a family lake house, where the family gets together to spend time on the water, barbecue, and enjoy each other’s company.
Our Extended Family
We both have large families, and both sides are very close to each other and are always together in some form. Josh has a sister, a brother-in-law, and a brother who is in a relationship with his high school sweetheart. Josh also has several aunts, uncles, and cousins (his father is the youngest of six children!). Matthew also has a large family. He has two brothers, one sister, one brother-in-law, two sisters-in-law, and five nieces and nephews. He also has several aunts, uncles, and cousins. His father is the third of six children, and his mother is the third of four children. In addition to our biological families, we have a large network of friends we consider our extended family.
When we told our families we’re adopting, nothing but joy, tears, and congratulations were given. We can’t stop talking about all the milestones and traditions we will turn into memories with your baby. Your child will be the center of attention, because they are going to be the first grandchild, first great-grandchild, and first niece or nephew in this generation on Josh’s side. The amount of joy, love, and compassion will be endless. Your baby is going to be the center of attention in everything we do, every place we go, and in every story we tell.
What Led Us To Adoption
For both of us, having a child has always been a dream. Seeing our siblings and friends with their children and watching them grow solidifies our dream of raising our own family. We have attained a point in our lives where we are secure in our careers, financially stable, and mentally ready to grow our loving family. After much discussion and consideration, we realized we’re ready to welcome a new baby into our lives through adoption.
