Dear Expectant Mother,
First, we want to thank you from the bottom of our hearts for considering us as parents and taking the time to read our profile. We cannot begin to imagine what emotions you must be feeling as you make this courageous and selfless decision. By making this sacrifice, you are giving us the opportunity to build a family of our own, fulfilling a lifelong dream for both us and our families. For this reason, you really are a miracle for us.
Our goal is to provide the best opportunities for your child, from being raised in a loving and accepting home to having access to the best education. From our international, close-knit families, we can guarantee a life full of diverse experiences, positive life lessons, and no shortage of unconditional love. At home, Kash is especially excited to teach your child how to sing, play the piano, and bake yummy desserts, and Francesco cannot wait to teach him or her how to swim, ride a bike, and create art. Our philosophy as parents is to provide your child with all of the tools necessary to lead a happy, confident, and successful life, without ever forgetting their biological roots.
As you make this difficult decision, we want to offer our full support. We would love to do whatever it takes to help you make a decision that is right for you and your child. We respect you, we are committed to you, and we cannot wait to meet you.
Francesco is the Art Director for a large technology company, and Kash works for an apartment community and teaches English as a second language. Despite growing up on opposite sides of the world, we have very similar backgrounds. Kash is the youngest child and grew up in rural Wyoming, and Francesco is the youngest in his family and grew up in a small town in Italy. We met in Italy, and after several years together, we married in 2014. After exploring Europe, we settled in beautiful Washington. Together, we love traveling, but at home Kash loves cooking and baking, whereas Francesco loves technology and woodworking. We cannot wait to create new memories as a family, whether exploring the ancient sites of Francesco’s hometown, the mountains of Wyoming with Kash’s family, or enjoying quality time together at home.
We live in in one of the most desirable neighborhoods in the city, in a charming home we have carefully restored. Our home has three spacious bedrooms, a nursery and playroom, two bathrooms, and two living rooms with cozy fireplaces. We also have a large fenced yard, where we can play alongside our energetic puppy, Gnocchi (the Italian word for “dumpling”). Our fantastic neighbors also have two young girls of their own, and the entire neighborhood is renowned for being family-friendly. Within walking distance are several parks, lakes, and even the zoo! For hot summer days, there is also a fantastic ice cream parlor close by. Our cousins live down the street, and their newborn son is excited to welcome his first cousin home!
Our Extended Family
Kash’s parents and three grandparents still live in Wyoming, splitting their time between Kash’s childhood home and a lovely family cabin in the mountains. Every summer, they organize a family reunion at the cabin, where everyone can catch up and have a good time playing games and singing/playing the guitar around the fire. We are also close with Kash’s two brothers, sister-in-law, and three adorable nieces and nephews, and we visit them every year.
Francesco’s parents, brother, and extended family live in central Italy, but we remain close by visiting each year. Each year the entire family gets together for a typical Italian Christmas feast in a historic restaurant, which offers 16 courses of delicious fish, pasta, and desserts. Francesco’s parents love children and cannot wait to be first-time nonni (the word for “grandparents” in Italian)!
Both of our families have supported us from the beginning, and all are excited for our family to grow!
What Led Us To Adoption
From the beginning of our relationship, we bonded over the mutual desire to build a family. Our choice to move to Washington, buy a home, and establish roots have all been necessary steps in our adoption journey. Our dedication toward adoption comes from our own life experiences; Kash’s aunt was adopted as an infant, and Francesco’s two good friends were both adopted. We have seen firsthand how adoption has been a blessing for our friends and family, and we are excited for the opportunity to fulfill our lifelong dreams through the gift of adoption. We see adoption as a way to provide a child with both unconditional love and fully respecting their biological origins.
