Gender of child interested in adopting: No Preference
State I live in: TX
Thank you for taking the time to read this letter and learn about me. I want to thank you for being brave enough to choose adoption for the child you are carrying and I want to encourage you to take the time to make the right decision concerning the child and yourself. I cannot imagine what you are going through, but I know you are a courageous and strong woman to choose to go through this process.
I want you to know and feel confident that I will be a loving and supportive mom. I value honesty, love, kindness, generosity, loyalty, hard work, and fun. I love to laugh and go on adventures and I cannot wait to do all of those things as a mom.
I hope you find peace on this journey and a confidence that you are making the right decision to give this baby the best life possible. Thank you for taking the time to look at my profile and consider me while you are making your decisions.
I am a hard working, loyal, honest, funny, financially stable, and adventurous single woman in my 30’s. I work as a nurse in two roles, first as a bedside nurse at the county hospital and as a Sexual Assault Nurse Examiner for my city and surrounding communities. I love my job and the opportunity it presents for me to help and care for others when they most need it. In my free time I love to read, travel, spend time with family and friends, play games, be outside, play with my dogs, or just be at home doing projects. I have always treated life as an adventure and am excited about embarking on this next adventure of life as a mother.
I live with my two dogs, Bubba and Murphy, in a three bedroom/two bathroom house that is open and bright. My neighborhood is safe, all my neighbors know and talk to each other, and kids are frequently playing outside. I bought my house because of the charm and safety of this neighborhood and the giant oak tree in the front yard that is just perfect with the swing that is now there.
My Extended Family
My parents are very excited to become grandparents once again as my brother has kids that are teenagers and almost grown. Even though several hours of travel separates us, my family remains close, and we try to see each other frequently. I stay in touch with my extended family by speaking to them often, as well as getting together during holidays or special occasions.
I spend spring break traveling with my parents, cousins (some of whom I consider to be my best friends), nieces and nephews. My favorite holiday is Christmas. Like all family gatherings, this includes games. These games can be outdoor games like Hide & Seek or board games such as Wahoo and Monopoly.
What Led Me To Adoption
I have always wanted to be a mom. I have a genetic condition that is easily and very likely to be passed down, so I have known my whole adult life that I would one day adopt and finally, after much encouragement from my family and friends, I have decided it is time to start this journey. Growing a family through adoption is not new to my family, immediate or extended, and we are all excited to once again welcome a baby into our family through this beautiful process.
