We want to thank you for taking the time to look at our profile and getting to know us. It is difficult to write this letter. It is difficult to find the words.
We have dreamed of becoming parents, and we feel that now is the time for us to take that leap of faith. Over the 11 years that we have been together, we have created a strong and stable bond full of love between our families and us. We would love to be able to dedicate all of that love toward your child.
We know you are an incredibly brave woman to consider adoption and we can only begin to imagine all that you are thinking and may be going through. If you choose us as adoptive parents, we can assure you that this child will have a safe, fun, and loving home in which to grow. Your child will have the support of a strong family and extended family that will love and guide him or her through life.
If there is anything you would like to know about us, we would be more than happy to provide you more information. Again, thank you so much for taking the time to visit our profile. We wish you the best in making your decision.
We met at a dinner party 11 years ago and we have been together ever since. We married in 2016. Joel is a business executive and Oz is a hair stylist at an upscale salon. We love going to movies, family gatherings, and vacations spots. We also love working on renovating our home. Joel is the cook in the kitchen and Oz is the clean-up crew. Joel loves his sports while Oz prefers reading, painting, or working outside on the lawn.
We live in a thriving, eclectic, family-oriented neighborhood in a fairly large and growing city. We live just blocks away from a park with playgrounds and a recreation center. Our home was built in the early 1900s and has lots of great space and room to grow. It is a three-story home with four bedrooms. The third floor is used as a loft. There are one-and-a-half bathrooms and a large fenced-in backyard. Our dog, Diego, is super friendly and welcomes everyone that visits our home. We lost our 14-year old dog, Loch, in 2017, and he is dearly missed.
Our Extended Family
Joel is from Kansas, where his family still lives. We see them regularly to celebrate birthdays, holidays, or just for a quick visit. His family is small, with only his parents and an older sister, but they are close and supportive. Joel’s parents can’t wait to become grandparents for the first time.
Oz was raised in Dallas and comes from a large family and an even larger extended family. Most of them continue to live in Texas. He is one of five siblings and has nine nieces and nephews, as well as countless aunts, uncles, and cousins. We love visiting them and having them over for a visit. Oz’s mom is a great cook, and Oz learned many of his home improvement skills from his father.
We try to spend time with both families during Thanksgiving and Christmas, which are our favorite holidays because of the time we spend with family. We love to continue family traditions. We can’t wait to pass on those traditions to our child, as well as to create new memories, such as learning to cook and bake with the grandmas, fishing and building things with the grandpas, sleeping over with cousins, taking road trips, and so much more!
What Led Us To Adoption
We have always wanted to be parents but felt that we needed to be in the right place in our relationship and careers before starting the journey. There’s nothing we want more than to be parents and to share our love and knowledge with a child.
As a non-traditional family, we will teach our child the importance of acceptance, equality, diversity, and overcoming prejudice. Our life experiences have taught us how important it is to have the support and unconditional love of family to rely on, and we want to provide that stability to a daughter or son.
