We both respect and admire you for the brave decision you are making. Your decision demonstrates the ultimate display of love and selflessness, and we are so grateful for giving us the gift to complete our dreams.
As we take the next step in our lives, we are continually reminded how important family is to us. From our immediate family to our extended family and friends, we are surrounded by unconditional love and support, and we are excited to share our many blessings with your child. Your child will be our most precious gift and we promise to devote the utmost care, love, security, and guidance throughout their life.
Thank you for considering us as the family to adopt your expected baby. Know that our hearts and home are ready to welcome your child and to support them through their journey.
All of our appreciation and thankfulness.
John is a San Francisco native and entered retail management after graduating and has been a store manager for the past 22 years. Patrick is from Colorado and works in marketing and sales.
Patrick was hosting a fundraiser to support a local charity when John introduced himself. Since our introduction, we shared a passion for being active and experiencing life. When we’re not with friends and family, you can find us exploring nature, playing sports, attending cultural events, or traveling. Community support is a cornerstone of our relationship. We support various charities including breast cancer, AIDS, animal welfare and feeding the less fortunate.
We are the proud owners of two senior dogs, George and Bam Bam. George is an eleven-year-old Great Pyrenees mix who is a gentle giant. Bam Bam is a fifteen-year-old Lemon Beagle that enjoys sunbathing and long naps. On our daily walks, we enjoy visiting neighbors and letting the dogs socialize with their fur friends. The neighborhood is a new community, but with the friendly neighbors it feels like we’ve been here for years. If we’re not walking the dogs around the neighborhood, we are in the nearby mountains camping or riding our bikes.
Our Extended Family
We both come from very open and loving families with many traditions, but one of our favorites is Sunday dinner. After we finish our competitive flag football game, the immediate family gets together to eat and share. We enjoy watching all of the kids play while the adults talk about travel, work, and life.
Holidays are also very special for the family. While we celebrate Christmas Eve with friends, we celebrate Christmas Day with our family. We love seeing the house filled with family and the wonderful smells of a home cooked meal. Being together is important to our family and a tradition our parents have instilled in our lives. It is not uncommon to see the family watching one of the grandkids playing sports or singing in a school play. We all attend for support.
What Led Us To Adoption
So far, we’ve only been able to be the fun and supporting uncles to our numerous nephews and nieces, but we’ve always dreamed of becoming parents of our own. Now that we’ve been together for four years, we feel we are ready to become parents. Being a parent has always been a goal in our relationship and we are so excited to share our many blessings with our child.
