Your decision to entrust your child to the care of adoptive parents is one of the hardest decisions any person can make, and we admire the strength and courage that it takes to consider adoption. You have our gratitude and thanks for taking a moment to consider us for adopting your child.
We do not know what brought you to adoption, but we want you to know we would love to provide a home to your child full of love and support, as we had received from our parents. You can expect that your child will be raised with the values we hold dear, such as getting a good education, understanding the value of work, exploring creative and intellectual pursuits, maintaining good health, and appreciating the benefits of helping others. We look forward to raising him or her to be an upstanding citizen and exceptional adult.
We hope that you will select us to adopt your child. We would be honored and humbled for you to choose us, and we look forward to meeting you.
We have been together for nearly eighteen years, the last three of those married. We have had our ups and down, our joys and sorrows, and we have remained together because we love and are devoted to each other. With such a long history, we often finish each other's sentences and jokes.
We are each in the middle of our careers, and we strive for balance between work and leisure. Ronny enjoys working on the garden, which seems to get fancier each year, and Philip enjoys working on his hobby of digital art and animation. Together, we enjoy cooking dinners and going out with friends, or taking in a movie at home.
We found the perfect old house in a “hip”, laid back, diverse neighborhood with a park and activities a short walk or car ride away. The yard is landscaped with a large area for play in the fenced backyard, and the interior of the house is modern, warm, and comfortable.
We are devoted to our pets, a cat and a dog. Loki, the cat, has been with us for over seventeen years and is still going strong. The dog, Grace, is very intelligent and loves to play outside. Grace is perhaps the best behaved and most loving dog we have ever encountered.
Our Extended Family
Our family is important to us, and our family history, and hence our traditions and values, are quite diverse. Ronny grew up in the Virginia mountains with a large extended family of 12 aunts and uncles and numerous cousins.
Philip grew up with a large extended family in New Orleans with a large contingent of Lebanese, French, and Irish cousins, and Sundays, holidays, and birthdays would be spent with part or all of the family celebrating the day and being together. Even though we now live in different states, we still set aside time to visit one another throughout the year.
What Led Us To Adoption
We have wanted a child for many years, and after finishing school and becoming settled in our careers and in our home, we finally felt ready for fatherhood. We are ready to open our loving and caring home and to provide a child with the best our hearts and minds can give.
