It gives us great joy that you would choose to consider us. It is amazing how fate can bring people together. Here we are, strangers who anxiously, maybe nervously, seek each other out to begin a connection. Your love for a child brings you to us. The love we have to give brings us to you. Adoption is a selfless decision for you and a life changing decision for us. Your decision humbles us with a gratitude that will last a lifetime. The life of your child in our home will be a happy and healthy one.
Our names are Ryan and Dustin. Unconditional love is the motto of our home. When the sun sets and our heads lay down, we always remind each other that our love is present. Care, compassion, and encouragement for one another and others are strong values demonstrated in our home. Openness about who the child is from the beginning will also be shared to your comfort level. We value our roots and respect that a child in our home would want to do the same.
The joy you can bring to us is a debt we could never repay. Peace be with you in your decision making and in your future. We look forward to meeting and learning more about you!
“Joy is the simplest form of gratitude.” - Karl Barth
- Ryan & Dustin
We have been together for more than eight years and were married in 2013. Dustin works in finance and enjoys helping people reach their goals. Ryan is a creative mind, working with interior design, print and digital media and playing around with recipes. We live an active lifestyle, enjoying everything from traveling across the US to exploring at home in the Pacific Northwest. Since moving back to the Pacific Northwest, we have been hiking, spending time with nearby family and friends and seeing what the area has to offer.
Our Extended Family
Dustin grew up on his family’s farm in the Midwest. Along with his parents, he has a younger sister in the Northwest who is soon to be married. Ryan grew up in the city suburbs. In addition to his parents, who are also in the Northwest, he has a brother and sister, both married with three nephews between them. We both are fortunate to have grown up in homes that valued time spent with both our immediate and extended families. Our extended family is spread throughout the country and we travel to see each other regularly. We also consider a few close friends as family as well. We get together for family vacations, the holidays and just everyday life, often hosting events in our home, as connections with our family and friends are very important to us.
Our Family Traditions
Traditions are strong with us. Christmas Eve we watch “It’s a Wonderful Life” in front of the fireplace. Every year, we get together with our friend family and meet up somewhere around the country. Thanksgiving, we gather family and friends to share in what makes us most thankful. When the weather permits, we make S’mores around a fire pit and always find lots of reasons to get together with those we love.
What Led Us To Adoption
Every time we looked at options for a child of our own, adoption always seemed right in our hearts. We have always wanted to make a difference in the life of a child and adoption is one way we feel we can do that. We have faith that the right expectant mother will find us. We have been working toward this goal for several years and now that we are ready, we hope you are the one to make that dream come true.
