Dear Expectant Mother,
“Thank you” cannot begin to express our feelings to you for considering us to love and raise your baby. Your decision to place your baby with a loving and nurturing family is probably the toughest decision you have ever had to make. We want you to know what a miracle you are allowing to happen for a beautiful family. We are thankful for you and admire your strength.
Your baby will grow up knowing that he or she is always loved and cared for in every way. He or she will know they were loved beyond measure by you even before joining our family. We are excited to make our family complete and start our lives together. Our lives are full, and family time is important to us. Your baby will grow in our family as we go exploring on family vacations, celebrate with family, make cookies together, and even do homework together. Your child will be able to pursue their dreams as they grow into a wonderful adult. If they want to do dance, sports, music, or anything that brightens their spirits, they will be able to do it. During every aspect of their lives, even sad and tough times, your baby will always have unconditional love and support as we hold and comfort them and help them grow.
We want you to know that you are also loved by our family. Your baby will know how much he or she has always been and always will be loved by you.
We both work in education. Stacey is an elementary and special education teacher, and Dana is a special education coordinator. We met later in our lives and are soulmates. We genuinely enjoy each day together. We complement each other and are the closest thing to perfect as you can get as far as being happy and supportive of one another. Our lives are busy and full, but we always take time for each other to keep our relationship healthy and happy. Because we found each other later in life, we believe we had to grow and experience prior relationships in order to truly love and appreciate one another and know our love is forever.
We live in a beautiful and modest home in a neighborhood that is full of families and children. There is a park at the end of our street where we can take your baby to play. We have a fenced yard where children can play and where our family gathers during warm months. We are pet lovers in our family, and we have small lap dogs and rescue kittens. We live minutes from every outdoor recreation activity you can think of: swimming, camping, hiking, skiing, and a large amusement park. We are excited to experience all of these things with your beautiful baby.
Our Extended Family
We have several siblings and a lot of cousins for your baby to grow up with. He or she will grow up being loved by a big family. We have family gatherings often for holidays, birthdays, special celebrations, and just to be together. The best celebration will be when we introduce a little one to complete our lives.
Our favorite holiday is Christmas, and we have fun family traditions. On Christmas Eve, we bake and decorate cookies! This is followed by dinner and a drive to see Christmas lights. Once home, we open two presents each, Christmas pajamas and a book. After we open presents Christmas morning, everyone meets at my sister’s home for breakfast in our Christmas pajamas. The best present we could have is having your baby join our family.
What Led Us To Adoption
Because we found each other later in our lives, we are unable to have a child together biologically. We have both felt our family is not yet complete, and adopting a baby would add love and fulfillment to our family. We have had loved ones experience both sides of adoption. It is not always easy, but in the end, they have been the most loving experiences we have known. Adoption is a miraculous way for families to grow.
