Dear Expectant Mother,
First and foremost, we want to thank you. We appreciate that you took the time to give us a second glance. The decision you are about to make takes a lot of courage and we want you to know that we think what you are doing is very noble and selfless.
We have surrounded ourselves with a loving family, a diverse group of friends, and built a life rich with memories and adventures. The desire to become fathers has always burned bright in our hearts and we are thrilled to be at a point in our lives where we can offer a child financial stability, a warm, nurturing home and unconditional love.
We have so much respect for you and know that your decision comes from a genuine place of love for this child. We hope that by reading our profile you can feel the love and commitment that we have for each other and will find it in your heart to help make our family complete.
We met by chance in New Orleans over 5 years ago and it was love at first sight. We never looked back and have been best friends and devoted partners to each other ever since. In January of 2015 we visited Aspen, Colorado and were married in an intimate ceremony.
Danny works for an airline and Taylor is a realtor and flips houses.
Our favorite things to do together are gardening, bowling, walking our two dogs, entertaining, having game nights with friends, cooking, and visiting family. We love traveling to new places and experiencing new things together every chance we get.
We live in a single story home in Dallas. Our home is completely remodeled and has lots of room for little feet to run around. We have 4 bedrooms and 2.5 baths and a large back yard. Our neighborhood has large trees, wide streets, and a lot of younger families live here. We have two dogs, Sadie, a Schorkie and Delta, a Basset hound. They love to be walked around the neighborhood to say hi to all of their “friends”.
Our Family Traditions
Family is very important to both of us. One of our favorite holidays is Thanksgiving because both of our families come together to spend Thanksgiving as one big extended family. Taylor loves to cook and always makes the turkey, a ham, and two different kinds of stuffing and everyone else brings a different side dish or dessert and we all eat great food, tell fun stories about our lives, and of course- watch football. After dinner we all sit around and play board games.
Our second favorite holiday is Halloween. We will never be too old to dress up! Every year we rent a cotton candy machine, get lots of candy, stickers, and whistles and set up a big table in the front yard and pass out goodies to all of the trick-or-treaters. We invite friends over and make a fun evening out of it, complete with Halloween themed snacks and drinks.
Our families love to travel and spend time together, so family vacations happen every year. Whether it is a trip to Disney, a cruise, or a quick weekend get away we always appreciate a new adventure and some treasured family time.
What Led Us To Adoption
Both of us have always had the desire to be dads. Adoption was really the only option we ever considered. We began the discussion about 2.5 years ago when we decided we were in a great point in our lives to start a family. We have surrounded ourselves with loving family, supportive
friends and have built an amazing life together with a great home to welcome a baby into.
