Dear Expectant Mother,
Thank you for taking this moment to consciously connect with us on the deepest level. We trust that though mere words cannot express the gratitude, humility and Love that's in our hearts, that you will receive the sentiment in its entirety, as we believe that God is Love, that Love is Everything and that Everything is One.
Moreover, we know, absolutely, that you are now, that you always have been and that you always will be a part of us that is just as essential to our being as the air we breathe.
Faithfully, we reach out to you with the utmost hope that you will reach back to us and that we all can appreciate a beautiful symbiotic relationship comprised of pure Love.
It is unknown to us what brings you to this moment...this decision, but just as we trust that you will know the sincerity and entirety of the gratitude, humility and Love in our hearts, we also trust that you know that whatever choice you make is the best possible. Thank you again for taking this moment to consider us as a part of you to care for the most precious gift that can be bestowed upon us.
We are a family of complementary opposites. We bring out the best in each other and help each other to be more well-rounded. This is true for us as a couple, for our kids, and even for our dogs. With regard to us as a couple, though our occupations are different, they have a commonality: technology. One of us is a computer science teacher and one is an IT professional in the service industry. We both enjoy playing outdoors with our kids and dogs. We are both nurturing and affectionate and share a common spirituality. We believe in being present and grateful. As far as our kids are concerned, one enjoys sports and a busy social life, while the other appreciates art and introspection. As for the dogs, well...two Bulldogs and a Chiweenie make for great friends and great comedy, if you can picture it. We are all fortunate to have each other and we are all, hopefully, awaiting the new addition to our family.
We live in a relatively large, but cozy five bedroom house that's in a beautiful and friendly suburban neighborhood surrounded by creeks and green belts. We enjoy frequent sightings of deer and wild turkeys. We have three dogs: two English Bulldogs and one Chiweenie.
Our Extended Family
Our extended family sizes are different. One is fairly large and one is relatively small. Both of our extended families live in different but nearby cities (we are in the middle). We have pretty regular interaction and visits with our families.
We especially enjoy hosting for our favorite holiday, which is Thanksgiving and holidays, vacations and special occasions with both of our families. We have nephews who visit with our kids for at least a week at a time during school breaks.
We also enjoy the occasional chaos of sleepovers and birthday celebrations with grandparents, aunts, uncles, cousins and family friends for our kids. We appreciate intimate cozy movie nights and bedtime stories at tuck in just the same.
Our get-togethers are typically filled with the joy of laughter, storytelling, music, food and fun.
What Led Us To Adoption
We both love children and would like to enjoy a large family. We've always been open to adoption as an option to achieve this, as we believe family is bonded by Love and we have lots of it that we are eager to share.
