dear expectant mother

Dear Expectant Mother,

You could be our miracle, and we think very highly of you for considering us to cherish, love, and raise your child. Our journey of infertility has been a painful one, but you have given us hope that we can build our family. Thank you for considering providing us with the opportunity to become a family.

This can be an emotional and overwhelming time, and we want you to know we will cherish your baby and give him or her the love and care they deserve. We want to give your baby a warm, loving home filled with happiness.

About Us

We have been in a loving and committed relationship for five years and married for three. We knew we were meant to be when we could be ourselves with one another. Our relationship is full of laughter. We support each other and always make room for each other’s dreams. We work hard and are dedicated to making each other happy, better people. Joshua manages a large retail store, and Jennifer works as a coach helping teenagers learn to drive. Joshua enjoys video gaming, sports, driving, and exploring. Jennifer enjoys swimming, walks, writing, and art. We both love dogs! We have adopted two and are fostering two others. Our home is fun and full of play. We enjoy traveling and taking car rides to explore parts of the city and the U.S.

Our Home & Pets

We live in a quiet neighborhood that has trails and parks we enjoy walking through. We walk our dogs by the stream that runs down the green belt that connects the parks. Our home is at the end of a cul-de-sac. Our home is a three-bedroom ranch with a lovely, large backyard and two gardens. We have a deck we love to spend our summer nights on. We share our home with a basset hound named Pancake, a fox hound named McGriff, and two older foster dogs named Gus and Call.

Our Extended Family

Joshua’s family, which includes his mom, dad, and two brothers, lives in Florida. Joshua has a sister and her partner here in Colorado. We spend weekends and holidays with them. Jennifer’s parents have passed away, but she carries on holiday traditions her parents passed down to her. She also has many aunts, uncles, and cousins. We both grew up in very loving families.

We are really into Christmas and Halloween. For Christmas, we decorate the house and spend the whole month doing Christmas activities and crafts. We also go to Christmas markets and see Santa. We volunteer for a charity each year to give back, and Joshua enjoys cooking and baking. At Halloween, we join in fun family nights, pumpkin carving, and fall festivals and dress up for local parties. We are excited to go trick or treating and dress up with your baby as well as to share Christmastime and all the holiday joy with your baby.

What Led Us To Adoption

From the beginning, we have discussed welcoming a child into our family through adoption. We found out two years ago we could not have a child on our own, and we want to build a loving family. Adoption would be a rewarding and amazing way to bring a missing piece to our family. We know it would complete us, and our family is very supportive. Adoption has touched Jennifer’s family in fulfilling and wonderful ways.
