dear expectant mother

There are no words to express my gratitude toward you for considering me to raise your child. My son and I are so grateful for this opportunity to expand our family with this little blessing. I know this isn’t an easy decision, but I can promise you, should you choose to bless me and my son with this amazing gift, we will love and protect them always. You could make my dream of loving and raising another child come true. I couldn’t do this without you!

I believe all kids should have a sibling in the house. This teaches them firsthand how to share, support one another, and love. I am overjoyed my son will soon be a big brother. I cannot wait to share our life with our new addition. We have so much love to give that it is overflowing. Now we can share the love that has been growing within our hearts and the adventures of our lives with this blessing.

Everything happens for a reason, and my son and I hope we are your reason. My promise to you is to love, protect, cherish, encourage, and provide for your precious baby should you choose me. Thank you again for considering to shape and mold this little blessing to an even bigger blessing!

You could make my dream of loving and raising another child come true. I couldn’t do this without you!

About Me

Hi, my name is Kesha, and I am overjoyed to adopt to expand my family. I am a divorced mom of an eight-year-old son. I am a math teacher and a daycare assistant director. I am a bubbly person who loves to talk and play with kids. I love to read, exercise, and spend time with family and friends. I am a former swimmer, so pool time is a must for me and my son. My son plays baseball and soccer, so we are on the go during sports season. We love to watch movies, and we are Marvel superhero crazy! He has just mastered riding his bike, so we spend a lot more time outside now. My son is a pro in Legos! He loves to put them together and recreate other ideas.

My Home

We live in a three-bedroom townhouse with an attached one-car garage. My only must in picking this property was a garage. Getting a child out in the rain was no joke, so I knew I had to have a place with a garage for the next child. At the end of my street is a cul-de-sac. This makes it perfect for our bike rides and other outside play. We are close to highway access, which can lead us in any direction, from shopping centers to the beach.

My Extended Family

With me being an only child, I love family events. During birthdays and holidays is when we get together the most. We have big gatherings for Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year’s Eve. Every once in a while, we will decide to do a Taco Tuesday or a Fish Fry Friday gathering. I live in the same town as a few aunts and a lot of cousins, so when we get together, it is a great time. We all have kids who complement each other’s ages, and they really enjoy playing with each other.

At times, a parent will take all the kids (in the common age group) for a day. We have gone to museums, parks, and ice cream parlors. Our favorite trip is to the beach. Once a year we all agree on a week to go to the beach for a big family vacation. We stay in a suite with multiple bedrooms, and the rest is history!

What Led Me To Adoption

My son and I are super excited to adopt. My biological son is from my previous marriage. Infertility issues delayed and eventually stopped me from being able to biologically have another child. With a lot of praying and speaking to a daycare parent who adopted both of her kids, I knew this was the route for me. My son has been asking for a sibling since he was in kindergarten. When I decided to go forward with the adoption, to my surprise, he was already familiar with what an adoption is and still has his same level of excitement.
