There are no words to describe how excited we are to repeat this journey of expanding our family! We recently completed the adoption of our newborn son Jordan, and are eager to adopt a second child as Jordan’s sibling. We understand the emotional roller coaster the adoption process can be, and we want you to know we will be there with you every step of the way. We know you have difficult decisions to make in this journey, and we thank you for even considering us.
For us, we choose adoption over other options as we feel adoption serves a greater good and fulfills our passion to share our love with another child. A child placed in our home with our family will be welcomed and loved unconditionally. We thank you for considering our family to raise your child.
We truly believe that there is no greater gift that can be given to a family than that of a child. For our family to be chosen by you would truly be a blessing.
We have been together for over six years, and were married on our fourth anniversary on New Year’s Eve – 12/31/13! Through these last six-plus years we have become the best of friends, inseparable, with a growing love for each other. If we can describe ourselves in a nutshell we would say: energetic, outgoing, well-traveled, educated, artistic, with a passion and love of music, being outdoors, amusement parks, cooking, and children!
Marcus works as an executive administrator for a large city in southern California. Noel has spent over a decade as a behavioral support specialist and is currently completing his education with a focus on psychology.
We have established a home together in a family-friendly neighborhood with good schools and parks close by. We are fortunate to have a comfortable home in a prime location in Palm Springs, within 2 hours of anywhere in southern California close to mountains, deserts and the beach. The breath-taking views from our home remind us every day of how fortunate we are, and we are eager to share our good fortune with your child.
Our neighborhood is a private and gated community, with neighborhood pools and recreation areas and tennis courts to give children a variety of activities to choose from. Our home also includes our four little joys of fur: Bella, Gizmo, Luna and Azuca – all child-friendly loving small dogs.
Our Extended Family
Noel was raised in a large Hispanic family with two sisters and three brothers – the second youngest of the family. Noel’s parents have been married nearly 50 years and enjoy spending time with their grandchildren (and a new great-grandchild) in the Fresno area. Noel’s family is rich in cultural traditions still carried out to this day, being a diverse and expanded family. Marcus was raised in a small family with one brother, being the younger of the two. Marcus’s parents have also been married nearly 50 years, and currently enjoy retirement a few hours away near Las Vegas, Nevada.
Since family is a BIG deal for us, we tend to bring both our families together every opportunity that we get, and our gatherings have become a family tradition for our extended love ones (family and friends). Our family traditions have included cooking a large Thanksgiving meal for over 30 of our closest friends and relatives; enjoying Christmas with Marcus’s parents in Nevada; visiting Noel’s family in Fresno for family traditions (elaborate quinceaneras, weddings and birthday parties); traveling to visit friends throughout California, from San Diego to Monterey, every holiday weekend possible; planning summer vacations all over the world – from Montreal, Canada, to Rome, Italy. Our traditions are not limited to holiday travel, but include arranging visits with all of our friends and family at every opportunity possible.
What Led Us To Adoption
We are both family-oriented and have always had a desire to have children. For us, adoption is an easy choice. We desire to adopt so that we can give a child all the opportunities and resources that we may not have had ourselves as children growing up. In 2015, through the efforts of Lifelong Adoptions, we were connected with an amazing woman who gave us the greatest gift we have ever received – our son Jordan! We are enjoying every moment of every day with Jordan, and would like to further expand our family to allow Jordan to be a big brother to a sister or brother of his own, so they may grow up together as close siblings and the best of friends, learning, loving and laughing through life.
