dear expectant mother

Dear Expectant Mother,

As we write this letter to you, we find ourselves at a lack for words. After all, what words could possibly portray our gratitude? To say we honor your bravery through this all doesn’t even scratch the surface. We are so proud of you as you consider the best option for you and your beautiful baby.

Considering adoption and choosing the best family for your baby is a huge decision, and we are honored you are considering us. With us, your baby would be raised in a loving and family-oriented home. They would grow up in a safe neighborhood bustling with other children their age to play with. They would be given every opportunity in life to thrive. We already have a spot secured for them in the best private preschool in our area. As a school-aged child, they would be in a great school district, with new buildings and excellent teachers. As they begin to look toward their future, we can promise you they will have all the tools they need and all the encouragement in the world to cultivate their interests and help them reach their goals and dreams.

Should you choose us, know that every day we will be grateful for this gift—this gift that can compare to nothing else and that will complete us and fill our hearts with so much love.

About Us

We are high school sweethearts and approaching ten years together. Jacob works in telecommunications and has recently begun apprenticing as a tattoo artist. Mekenzie is a stay-at-home mom and dedicates most of her time to raising and caring for our children while working a few hours a week as a photographer. We are an energetic, silly, and creative young couple. Jacob is a former collegiate athlete who enjoys athletic activities. He also enjoys creative and musical hobbies, such as tattooing and guitar. Mekenzie enjoys many creative hobbies, including baking and cake decorating, photography, and art. She also uses sewing and woodworking to create homemade toys. As a family, we value making home-cooked meals together nearly every night and sharing stories about our days. We have a caring and loving home and are thrilled to welcome your baby into it as part of our family.

Our Home & Pets

Before moving, we researched to find the perfect place for our family to thrive. We chose a lot in a very safe newbuild neighborhood, next to a brand new elementary school with top-of-the-line safety and excellent teachers. Our home is new, with an open concept perfect for family interaction, and has a playroom with lots of natural light. Our backyard has a playground, grass for running and playing, and garden beds. We have well-mannered pets accustomed to playing with young children. We have also already secured a spot in the best private preschool in our area for a couple of days a week when your baby is old enough to encourage social interactions with others their age.

Our Extended Family

Traditions are very important to us as a family. Thinking back on our childhoods, we reminisce on those special moments spent with family. Traditions are everything to us, and giving your baby those same cherished childhood memories is something we will strive for.

Jacob spent his summers as a child visiting the lake house, coming together with cousins, grandparents, aunts, and uncles. Water sports, fishing, and Fourth of Julys were celebrated together. Visiting the lake house is something we look forward to every year. Mekenzie’s fondest traditions as a child were around the holidays—setting up Christmas villages, putting up lights, and decorating cookies as a family. These are just a few of the traditions we keep alive every year.

Above all else, we value time spent with family, whether it’s visiting family, celebrating the holidays together, attending Jacob’s childhood church for the candlelight service on Christmas Eve, summers visiting relatives in Arizona, playing in the pool and family barbeques, or going to spring training games as Jacob did as a child to watch Major League teams and drink freshly squeezed lemonade.

What Led Us To Adoption

Family has always been the most important part of our lives. Shortly after school, we began saving and planning for our family we longed to one day have. Through two difficult and dangerous pregnancies, we were blessed with our two boys. Due to serious health risks, we are unable to have more children naturally. Adoption is something we have been considering for a while now, and with so much love to give, we can think of nothing more special than bringing another child into our home and our family through this process. Should you choose us, your baby would be loved beyond compare by us and our boys. With the adoption of your baby, our family will be complete and everything we have always dreamed of!
