Working for LifeLong is close to her heart, as she too was adopted. Jennifer know's how much love, strength and courage a birthmother and birthfather have in order to make this unselfish and life-altering decision. Growing up in a gracious and loving family with two adopted siblings she brings compassion and experience to her job in creating profiles for our families. Jennifer has had the experience of meeting her biological mother and father and truly respects the decisions they had to make. Jennifer’s adoptive mother always told her, "you weren’t born under my heart, but you were born in it." Jennifer has felt these words every day of her life. Creating profiles and working with LifeLong brings her great satisfaction in helping other families along this journey. Jennifer wishes you the best throughout your adoption.

What do you do at LifeLong?
I am an Adoption Profile Designer.

When did you join the LifeLong team?
I joined the LifeLong family in 2012.

What motivates you to get up and go to work?
Knowing I am playing a role in helping others achieve their dreams of building a family of their own.

What is your favorite inspirational, motivational, or positive-thinking quote?

What's your personal connection to adoption?
I am personally an adoptee. I was adopted at birth.

What advice do you have for our waiting families?
Never give up and enter every opportunity with an open mind and heart.

Who inspires you and why?
All of our families that we work with here at LifeLong. Seeing and reading everyone's personal stories and getting to know each and every one of them makes me feel motivated to reach and accomplish my own hopes and dreams.

When are you happiest?
Drinking my morning coffee and knowing that I have a brand new day ahead of me.

What is your favorite family tradition?
Spending the Fourth of July at the lake with my entire family for an entire weekend.

What are you passionate about?
Helping others

What was the last experience that made you a stronger person?
Meeting my biological mother and one of my biological siblings. I wasn't sure what to expect and if I would be able to handle that awkward situation well; however, with the support of my adoptive mother and father, I was able to go through that situation and come out of it with the realization that I am stronger than I originally thought.

What’s your most memorable facepalm moment?
Paying cash for gas at a gas station, but never putting gas into my vehicle. I went back to the store an hour later and luckily no one used that pump, so I casually filled up my Jeep laughing at myself the entire time.

What do you like to do on your days off?
DIY projects or installing aftermarket parts on my Jeep Wrangler

My family's summer home on the lake

Deep Dish Chicago-style Pizza

What are you proudest of?
My family and each member's accomplishments professionally and in life

What books are at your bedside?
I'm not much of a reader — unless a Jeep parts magazine counts as a book!

Married at First Sight. It is like a train wreck you can't stop watching.
