First and foremost, we want to thank you so much for taking the time to view our profile and for considering us to raise, love, and care for your child. Words can’t express how truly thankful we are. We know that this has to be a very hard decision for you, but we want you to know that, if you choose us to be adoptive parents for your child, we want to be there for you throughout your pregnancy and thereafter.
We have made the decision that, if you choose us, we want your child to know you and to communicate with you throughout his or her life. We would raise your child with the knowledge of how strong you are. And we will tell your child that your strength is also his or her strength. If you choose us, we would like you to remain connected with us and to share the milestones in your child’s life as he or she grows and achieves amazing things in life.
At first, we were unsure of what type of adoption to do, but after discussing this difficult decision, we decided that it’s important for every child to know where they come from, his or her family history, and most of all, his or her mother’s love.
We met five years ago. We both knew the first time we met that we loved each other and we have been together ever since. Aaron is a country boy from a very small town in southern Ohio. He moved to the big city, which is where he met Shaun.
Shaun, has always lived in the city, which is where we currently live. We are honestly the most down to earth people. We really enjoy having fun. We married in our home with friends present and then proceeded to have a reception for family and friends. Our family was so happy for us when we were able to say that we were officially married!
Aaron is a Registered Nurse. He always knew he wanted to help people and this was the best way for him to do that. Shaun is a Senior Clinical Coordinator at his company and also is a licensed Realtor.
Our home is our dream home. We have a beautiful home that is ready to be filled with the laughter and playfulness of a child. We live on a court, and almost every home has children that range from newborns to teenagers. Every day our court has children gathering to play with each other, and all of us neighbors keep watch over them while they play. Our school district is one of the very best. Not only do we have a great neighborhood and school system, but our city, in our eyes, is one of the best! It is so diverse and full of culture. There is always something to do, from the farmers market, arts appreciation, holiday festivities, and much more!
Our Extended Family
We have a very connected family. Shaun is actually a twin! We really enjoy spending time with his mom, dad, and sister. They are excited about our journey to become adoptive parents. We all enjoy taking day or weekend trips to different parts of Ohio and seeing and doing new things.
Aaron’s family is a bit bigger than Shaun’s. We visit his mother, sister, husband, and their six children. We lost Aaron’s father three years ago, but we know that he is with us on this journey! We spend equal amounts of time with the family and we really enjoy getting to be the favorite uncles of our nieces and nephews! They may get a bit spoiled by us! We also have our friends, with whom we are very close. We truly consider them family. They are just as happy for us in our journey to become adoptive parents as well.
What Led Us To Adoption
Shaun and I have always discussed our desire to have children. We both decided that the time was now to start this process. Words can’t express how excited we are. We know that we will be great parents. If you choose us as adoptive parents for your child, we promise to love your baby so much and to make sure that he or she will never be without. If you choose us, we would like to be there for you, whatever you need. Please let us know if you have any questions.
