Dear Expectant Mother,
We want to thank you so much for taking the time to view our profile and for considering us to raise, love, and care for your child. Words can’t express how truly thankful we are to get this opportunity to adopt a child and make our dreams come true. We know this has to be a very hard decision for you, and we want you to know the strength and courage you possess will always be known to your child. We will make sure he or she knows how selfless your actions are.
We cannot wait to support your child as they grow. We look forward to being at their side while they are learning to take their first steps, learning to speak their first words, learning how to ride a bike, comforting them after their first bad dream, reading them their bedtime stories, and getting to take our first vacation together as a family.
We are open to whatever level of communication best supports you, as we know how incredibly important it is to have a voice along this journey and we honor and respect your choices, whatever they might be. We have nothing but love and admiration for you and the selflessness of your actions. Your child will surely always know of your bravery.
We have been together for five years, and we knew from the first time we met we wanted to have a future together and that it would eventually include having a family. Aaron is a registered nurse, and Shaun is a senior clinical coordinator at his company as well as a licensed realtor, where he gets to help people find their dream homes. We have founded a non-profit organization in our home city where we and our volunteers provide free yard service to local folks who are elderly, disabled, and/or veterans. Having a sense of community and helping others is what drives us and we also want to instill this value in our children to help make this world a better place. We also enjoy having fun outdoors, attending concerts, kayaking, landscaping, spending time with family and friends and neighbors, and playing with our animals.
Our beautifully renovated home resides on a quiet and safe cul-de-sac that backs up to the woods. Our neighborhood is alive with the sounds of children of all ages playing and enjoying the outdoors. We also live in one of the highest-ranking school districts in our area, so your child will be guaranteed a great education. We live in a small city that’s constantly growing and is diverse and full of culture, so there is always something to do, like the farmer’s market, parades, festivals, arts appreciation, holiday festivities, and much more! We have two Basset Hounds and two cats, as well, and everyone gets along wonderfully.
Our Extended Family
We have a very close-knit and supportive family who are always there when we need them. Shaun has a twin sister, and they have been very close their entire life and share that “twin bond.” We enjoy spending time with her, her husband, and their mom and dad. They are all excited about our journey to becoming first-time parents and they are equally as excited to become first-time grandparents and aunt and uncle. We all enjoy taking day/weekend trips to see different parts of our state and experiencing new things, and we also enjoy going out to restaurants and enjoying quality time together.
Aaron’s family is a bit bigger than Shaun’s, and we visit his mother, sister, brother-in-law, and their six children as much as possible. We lost Aaron’s father three years ago, but we know he is also with us on this journey! We enjoy watching our niece and nephews grow into young adults that we get to spoil.
We also have a group of close friends that we also consider family, and they are just as happy and excited to see us start our family.
What Led Us To Adoption
We have always dreamt of having children and growing our family, as we truly have so much love and joy to share with a child. Words can’t express how excited we are to become parents and to finally have a little one of our own to raise and care for. Rest assured, your baby will grow up in a family-centered home, surrounded by lots of love and support.
