Dear Expectant Mother,
We would like to begin by expressing our appreciation for the strength it takes on your behalf to consider an adoption plan for your precious baby. Adoption is a courageous and selfless decision that can provide your child with endless opportunities. Although your decision may be tough, we know that you are making it out of love, compassion, kindness, and understanding. We truly hope that we are the kind of parents you are looking for.
Although we cannot promise that your child will have a life free from pain or hurt if you choose us as adoptive parents, but we can promise that we will be by his or her side supporting and guiding him or her through any obstacles throughout life. We would like you to take comfort in knowing that we will love your child unconditionally, and we are committed to providing the best, loving, and safest environment we can. As parents, we will provide a stable home filled with happiness, family, support, and stability. We are excited about this next part of our life together and look forward to spending time with and teaching your child respect, honesty, love, and compassion.
Heather is a family-oriented and compassionate person who strives to do her best, not only in her career field as a Retail Assistant Store Manager but in everything she does. She is a strong leader and mentor to her employees and is always open and willing to learn new things. Brandi is also very family oriented and enjoys her work in the community as a Veterans Benefits Counselor. She has devoted countless hours volunteering and giving back. She really enjoys being outside and is always finding new adventures for us to explore, whether it be for vacation or just a day trip. Together, we are a team and complement each other very well with great humor and never a dull moment. We are best friends, and we have big hearts. We truly enjoy spending time together as a couple, with our close friends, and with family, no matter the occasion.
We live on a half-acre of land in a three-bedroom two-bath house with a large backyard. We enjoy being outside, planting, and playing with our dogs. We currently have four very spoiled and loving dogs that are embraced by our active neighborhood. We look forward to showing an adopted child the enjoyment of being outdoors and spending time with loving pets. We live in a “small town.” Although it is primarily a retirement community, our particular neighborhood is located around a golf course with our warm and welcoming neighbors out and about on walks, in their yards, or catching up with each other. Most of the residents are local teachers, coaches, and retirees. We are a close-knit neighborhood that celebrates summer holidays together and enjoys playful sports team rivalries. We always help and watch out for each other.
Our Extended Family
We both have very diverse families and upbringings. Heather’s favorite tradition is Thanksgiving and Christmas gatherings with all of the family. She and her Grandfather Paul share a mutual enjoyment of black olives, so much so, it has become a tradition for one of them to bring an extra can to the other’s house. Although Brandi really enjoys the holidays with family, she also enjoys the summer months and the vacation time we take for adventures.
Our families are excited and elated for us to adopt and raise a child. Throughout the years, we have assisted in the care of our nieces and nephews, and we have found that we are not only good at it but truly want to share our love.
What Led Us To Adoption
We feel a strong and loving connection to adoption, particularly because Heather’s Grandfather (Paul) was adopted and grew up in a wonderful, loving, and safe home. Additionally, Brandi was raised by her grandparents. We feel that we not only understand having a diverse family dynamic and upbringing, but we embrace it as well.
