Family Type: Traditional
State we live in: Tennessee

dear expectant mother

We are honored and humbled you would consider us as adoptive parents for your baby. We don’t know your path and we haven’t walked in your shoes, but your decision can’t possibly be an easy one. We want you to know your gift would provide us with the miraculous opportunity to become the best version of ourselves as parents. We have so much love to give but also strength, faith, and confidence.

We want to raise your baby to be a person who can be anything and who believes they can do anything. We want to ride around just after dark looking at Christmas lights and see the wonder in their eyes. We want to see their confidence grow as they learn new skills, like baking cookies and cutting the grass. We want to run around in the backyard at night catching fireflies (and a case of the giggles). We want to take them for walks around our neighborhood and the pond and teach them all the new words their little mind can hold.

We would do anything possible to provide your child with everything they need (and quite a few wants) to have a beautiful, happy life. We are sure you noticed Heather’s red hair and sweet smile, but she will be the best mama bear you could imagine. Brian looks fun and easygoing, but he is also a mighty protector of his family, and your sweet baby would be our forever family.

We want to raise your baby to be a person who can be anything and who believes they can do anything. We want to run around in the backyard at night catching fireflies (and a case of the giggles).

About Us

We have been married 11 years and cannot imagine life without each other! Heather is a pediatric oncology nurse, and Brian works at an independent car repair shop. We both take great pride in our work and in serving others. Brian enjoys any activity outdoors, including yard work, washing cars, antique car shows, swimming, and riding in the Corvette with the top down! He also loves watching NFL football and plays in a fantasy league with his sister, brother-in-law, niece, and nephews, who live on the coast. Heather loves reading, from fiction to biographies and self-help. She also enjoys scrapbooking, crafts, and decorating, but her favorite hobby currently is babysitting her two-year-old nephew! We both love spending time with our families, having BBQ dinners, and taking walks around the pond in our neighborhood.

Our Home & Pets

Our home is spacious and inviting, perfect for playing or lounging. The kitchen, sunroom, and breakfast nook are all open, so that’s where our family gathers during cookouts. We love our back yard because it is so large, with plenty of room to run and play. There’s a covered patio with lots of comfy furniture to sit on. We live in a planned community that has a walking trail with a pond. There are multiple playgrounds in our town, and our city has one of the top 25 best zoos in the U.S.. There’s also an amazing children’s museum and tons of history in our city.

Our Extended Family

Our family has always been a major part of our lives, and we cannot wait to share a baby with them. Brian’s mother lives with us, and Heather’s mom lives just 15 minutes down the road. Brian’s sister and brother-in-law live in Florida with their daughter and two sons, all of whom are in college. We visit back and forth, and they will love having a baby in the family again! Brian has lots of family in the Carolinas, where he was born. Heather’s brother and his wife have a two-year-old son, and he will love having a cousin to play with. We see them multiple times a week.

The holidays, especially Christmas and Thanksgiving, are huge for us because we spend time together watching movies, snacking, and going to see Christmas lights. We play gift-giving games like “Dirty Santa” and give “As Seen on TV” gifts. In the summers, we spend tons of time grilling, playing outside, and swimming at Heather’s brother’s pool. His dog, Charlie, loves the water.

What Led Us To Adoption

We tried for many years to have children biologically and even tried infertility treatments. We began to see there was a calling on our lives to adopt a child and that adoption is the best choice for us, not a second choice or a choice out of necessity. We have many friends who have adopted, and we can see the joy it has brought to their lives. Our family has so much love, faith, and hope to share with your child, and we would love to see our family of two become three! We are so excited to finally start growing our family.
