Thank you so much for considering our family as a potential home for your child. We cannot imagine the strength and love that brings you to the adoption process. We hope that you will choose us to provide a loving, supportive home, in which your child can thrive.
We are excited to add a new baby to our home. Our son is older, so we have the time and experience to focus on the needs of a newborn. We know what it means to have our hearts grow through the love of a new child, and we are hoping our son will have the chance to learn that love as well.
Our family is rooted in love, honesty, and dedication to each other. As parents, our greatest wish is that we can provide our children with the opportunity to be their best selves, whatever that may be. As members of a community, we believe in responsibility, kindness, celebration of diversity, caring for the earth, and supporting our neighbors and friends.
We hope that we may have the chance to know you better. Thank you for thinking of us as a potential family for your child.
We met in college, and after a short time knew that we were going to spend our lives together. Almost fifteen years after our first date, we finally got married in the summer of 2013. We have always enjoyed cooking, watching movies, playing games, traveling, and caring for our pets together. Becca gave birth to our son three years ago, an event which changed our lives. Since then, we have been in search of a way to complete our family together.
We bought our first home two years ago, and have spent much of the time since working on projects to improve it and make it our own. We live in a neighborhood with many children and families, and are friends with our neighbors. We are close to a major city, with access to museums and cultural activities. We have two cats who are great cuddlers and very friendly to children.
Our Extended Family
We both come from families who love to cook and eat! Making and enjoying meals together are at the focus of both our daily lives and our holiday celebrations. We have an annual barbecue at our house, which is a time for our friends and family to come together. Our families are a bit spread out, so we work hard to make sure we have lots of visits. Shared family trips and holidays give us time to spend with parents, siblings, aunts, uncles, and cousins.
What Led Us To Adoption
From the time we started planning our family, we have discussed the joys that adoption can bring. We each grew up with a sibling, and that has always been our hope for our own family. When we realized that we were unable to have a second biological child, adoption was the natural path to make our family whole. It would mean the world to us to be able to raise two children who know the joy of sharing their lives with a brother or sister.
