dear expectant mother

Thank you for reading my profile. Even though I don’t know you, I admire your courage in considering adoption, and I admire your selfless love for your child. I can only imagine how difficult this decision is for you and the wide range of emotions and thoughts you’re having. This is your precious gift, and I understand you’re simply trying to make the best decision for you and your child.

If you decide to choose me to love and raise your baby, rest assured that he or she will be loved by many people. He or she will be safe and grow up in a nurturing home with lots of laughter. They will be supported in their decisions and receive the best education possible. We will definitely travel to Disney World, Disneyland and California. I love the holidays too, so we’ll spend time decorating our house for each holiday, cooking and baking, watching holiday movies, and celebrating with family and friends.

Most importantly, your child will know about you. You can decide how much information you would like me to share with your child. I will think of you every day and always be eternally grateful for what you have done for me. This gift will be the most precious gift I will ever receive and I will never take it for granted.

Even though I don’t know you, I admire your courage in considering adoption, and I admire your selfless love for your child.

About Me

My family, friends, and dog are the most important things to me. I am a loyal friend and make time for my loved ones: meeting for or making dinner; going out for a movie, musical, or concert; taking long walks; working on puzzles and games. I have worked in the food industry for over 20 years in various roles, and I have created a stable lifestyle that allows me to take care of myself and loved ones. I love to read and watch movies. Last year, I took up screenplay writing. It’s been so fun to meet with the writer’s group and provide constructive feedback; the support is wonderful, and it’s the kind of environment I hope to replicate for my family. I find laughter makes many things better, and we should strive for happiness.

My Home

I live in a large, two-bedroom condo in a major midwest city, just one block away from three well-rated elementary schools. There are only eight units in the condo building, so we are all close neighbors. I am within walking distance to the beach, zoo, museums, playgrounds, and downtown. If I need to escape the city, I am a 45-minute drive to the suburbs. I have a young Havanese who loves to cuddle and loves kids; he is so sweet and laid back. He has been my first dog, and he has brought so much joy to my life!

My Extended Family

My parents live 45 minutes from me, and I see them often. My dad is from Mexico and came to the USA when he was little. My brother, his wife, and their three daughters (ages nine, five, and one) live in Northern California. I see them often and we FaceTime regularly. My nieces and I do a lot of things together, like play Barbies, read, go to the movies, go to the pool, and work on homework. This year, we visited Disney World and our favorite activity was going to the Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique, where they got their hair, makeup, and nails done and got to feel like princesses!

I love being with my family (immediate & extended) and look forward to the holidays, when we’re together. My extended family is almost fifty people! I’m very close to my cousins and their families, who all live near me. Our biggest family tradition is my mom’s holiday party in early December. We have a big meal and watch National Lampoon’s Christmas Vacation (which we have been watching for over 25 years!).

What Led Me To Adoption

I love children and have always envisioned myself having a family! Since I was young, I have saved my favorite toys and my brother’s favorite toys to pass on to my children. After exploring several options, I decided on adoption because I have a friend who has successfully adopted two children. The children have blended into their lives seamlessly and the whole family is very happy together. Seeing this gave me a lot of excitement to pursue adoption as well and make a difference in someone’s life!
