When we stop to think about the words to share with you, our hearts are full of excitement and gratitude with the opportunity that stands in front of us. More than anything else, we would cherish the moment to look you in the eyes and tell you, ‘Thank You.' Thank you for being brave in your decision. Thank you for being you.
Although there are multiple avenues one can take to become a parent, we both knew that adoption is the path that we wanted to take. We believe that there is an expectant mother who has been thoughtful about the decision she is making, a decision to find the best parents she can to help love, protect, accept, and provide for her soon-to-be born child. We want you to know that we would love to be chosen as those parents. We recognize that parenting will have its challenges, but we are ready to take on each challenge together, and we will NEVER give up. We will ensure that we are the best parents possible, the ones you've been looking for.
Your decision makes us feel like we have a chance; we have a chance to be fathers, or better yet, to be ‘Dads.’ Our child will know that we weren't alone in this decision, but that you were here every step of the way. We promise that our child will know of the brave, intelligent, and selfless woman you are. Together, our legacy will be our child, an adventure filled with love, wonder, hope, and a dream of possibilities.
Chad hails from a small town in the MidWest. His drive for education and adventure led him to the West Coast, eventually landing in Joseph’s hometown of Las Vegas, where the story of us begins.
We met 9 years ago on a summer afternoon at a mutual friend’s pool party. Sparks ignited and our chemistry instantly created a love that has made our world and all around us more meaningful and enjoyable. We share our lives with our beloved pets.
Although we are dedicated to our professions, and love what we do, we also know how to slow down and make time for family, friends, and each other. You can always find us cooking in the kitchen, watching a movie, or reading a good book. Our outdoor adventures consist of running in marathons, swimming, biking, rock climbing, and traveling to unique destinations.
Our home is located in a charming neighborhood and is shared with our two amazing rescue Dalmatians, Nala and Korra. They have both been raised around young children and are great with everyone.
We are within walking distance of world renowned parks, hiking, and outdoor activities. Our spacious four-bedroom home has a large fenced-in backyard and pool and is an inviting place of acceptance, patience, and fun.
We are proud to live in a city that will offer your child great educational and exceptional cultural experiences all the while living in harmony with the environment, neighbors, and families.
Our Extended Family
The size of our families may differ, but we credit them largely for who we are. We were raised in homes built on a foundation of love, trust, and commitment while valuing the talents and gifts we possess individually.
Culturally, Joseph comes from a large diverse family. Joseph comes from a family of 5 with an extensive extended family, and currently has 9 nephews and nieces. Without fail, they spend time together each week.
Chad’s family may be small, but the love and laughter never ceases. He and his sister, along with her husband and 3 kids, still have a fondness for their hometown where his parents live. Although there may be distance between them, we always seem to find time to see one another, making it a perfect excuse for a family getaway.
Traveling has been an important part of who we are. A trip to Disneyland was our 1st date and we attend the park every year as a reminder of where we started. Darn that Disney Magic! Each time we go, we visit their animation studio where we learn to draw a new character. That artwork today hangs in one of the rooms of our home. As we visit new cities, we seal each trip with a personal and unique photo. Each adventure has become an unforgettable memory captured in those photos.
The holidays are extremely important to us and our families, especially Christmas. As we travel, we spend time on each trip ornament hunting. Our Christmas tree has become a journal of our travels.
As our family grows and evolves, we look forward to new adventures and can’t wait to make meaningful memories.
What Led Us To Adoption
We have worked to build a strong foundation on which our family will be built. Appreciating the loving homes and families we come from, the decision to start a family was easy; how to get there was more challenging. The choice to adopt was made after thoughtful consideration of all options available to us.
In the end, we recognize that the world is full of children who need a loving family. If we can make a difference in just one child’s life, we know we made the right decision.
