Dear Expectant Mother,
We cannot thank you enough for considering us as adoptive parents for your precious child. This is such a difficult and loving consideration for your baby. We cannot imagine how difficult this choice is for you, but already we know that you are strong beyond belief. You are considering making the ultimate selfless decision for your baby. The words “thank you” are not enough to express our gratitude and thankfulness that we have for you. If you choose us as adoptive parents, please know that we commit to being the best parents we can be and will provide a very loving, supportive, and safe home for your baby.
We have a strong network of family and friends who are kind-hearted and compassionate. If you choose us, we will all love your baby unconditionally. We promise to be committed to his or her education and to provide a home full of love and faith. If you give us the opportunity to be parents, please know that we will be devoted to raising a beautiful and smart boy or girl.
We both have professional careers in the medical field. Charles is a physical therapist assistant in an adult trauma hospital and has been in this profession for over 20 years. Anna is also a physical therapist and manages the rehabilitation department at a children’s hospital in their local community.
We both enjoy our jobs in the healthcare field and have dedicated many years of our lives helping others during some their most difficult moments. In fact, we met while working at the same hospital 14 years ago. We believe that working in a hospital prepares you to handle things well under pressure and to be flexible with how rapid things can change. Because our jobs can be demanding, we certainly enjoy our down time together to have fun. We enjoy spending time with family, going to the beach, going fishing, watching movies, and just being silly.
We live in a three-bedroom, two-bathroom, newly-constructed home. Our home is shared with our three cats: Carmelo, Charlie, and CoCo. They all have unique personalities. They are all so loving and really enjoy their snacks! Our home is close to a nature walking trail along the bay that is great for riding bikes or just walking. We are five minutes from the beach and local waterpark. We have kind neighbors with children, and our neighborhood is a lovely place during Christmas time. It is really charming to see the Christmas decorations and lights at night time during the holiday season. We have a nice fenced-in backyard with enough room for kids to run around. Charles loves to garden, and we have a citrus tree, rosemary, basil, and we are attempting to grow an avocado tree.
Our Extended Family
We love our families so much! Family gatherings are always fun. Charles’ dad is Italian and we really enjoy going to Charles’s parents’ house for Sunday Pizza Night! The authentic Italian pizza is awesome! We both grew up in small towns where everybody knows everybody, and we would not change growing up in a small town for anything! Anna’s mom taught Kindergarten for 27 years and is now retired. In fact, both grandmas are retired and eager to love a new grandbaby and shower him or her with lots of hugs and kisses. Our new little bundle of joy will certainly be loved in this family with awesome uncles, aunts, a niece, nephews, and certainly grandparents to love and cuddle him or her. Holidays are always fun - we spend them with our families. We split Thanksgiving and Christmas with our families and really value our family time together. Most of the time it’s spent eating awesome homemade food, laughing, and shopping after Thanksgiving for big sales or playing bingo.
Both of our parents instilled good values and the importance of going to church. We could not ask for a more loving and supportive family.
What Led Us To Adoption
We’ve known that adoption was likely the path we would take to start our family. We did struggle with infertility and decided very early in the infertility process that God was calling us to adoption. We believe that our work in hospitals and Anna’s work in a children’s hospital certainly helps us appreciate how badly we want to be parents and grow our family. We firmly believe that God is creating our miracle right now. We are so excited to begin our journey to parenthood and to start our family.
