Christine & Ashley

Family Type: Heterosexual Couple
State we live in: Florida

dear expectant mother

We know how hard this decision is for you, and we appreciate you even considering us. If you decide to place your child in our hands, we can promise you they’ll always feel loved, respected, and encouraged. We’ll strive to make sure we’re raising a person who will change the future for the better. We will teach them that a soft touch goes much further than a loud scream. We will teach them the special bond between humans and animals and how to speak for those who cannot speak for themselves. We’ll teach them the power of what one person can do. We will teach them about loving themselves for who they are while still striving to become better every day. We will celebrate all their accomplishments. If you choose us, you can rest easy knowing they are going to grow up to be an amazing person with the strongest support system possible.

We can see it now: snuggling at bedtime with our nightly book or splashing around in the pool. We see our dogs being loyal and loving companions. We see rainy days spent baking cupcakes and snuggling up to watch a movie. We see taking exciting family vacations with our future child to show them how big and beautiful the world is. We see the fridge full of art projects and spelling tests. We can’t wait for the pleasure of watching our little one open Christmas presents or the imagination of a child when dyeing an Easter egg.

We can see it now: snuggling at bedtime with our nightly book or splashing around in the pool. Your baby will feel so much love from the second they open their eyes.

About Us

Christine is a fifth grade teacher, and Ashley is an air traffic controller. We grew up together, going to the same middle and high schools. We started dating in college and have been inseparable since. We have been married for almost six years now. We love to be outdoors, especially on the water. We’re very outgoing people and love to host game nights and pool days at our home. We grew up playing sports and love to watch sporting events with friends and family. We both share a passion for helping those who don’t have a voice, and we are often volunteering in the community for different organizations that help both children and animals. We believe a loving home is a happy home, so we put a lot of focus on maintaining a healthy and loving relationship through communication and actively participating in the other’s life.

Our Home & Pets

We live in a beautiful home in a quiet neighborhood in Florida. There are many children in our neighborhood, and they are constantly outside, running and playing with friends. We are zoned to a computer science magnet public elementary school. We’re excited to be able to show a child the love of the outdoors we have through swimming and playing in our yard. We live near many local attractions, such as the zoo, the beach, and museums. The school Christine works at has a wonderful program to start your child’s learning early. We also have two lovable and playful dogs! They love to swim and run in our half-acre yard.

Our Extended Family

Both of the potential grandmothers live minutes away and are very excited to be a part of a child’s life. Ashley is an only child, and Christine’s only sister passed away unexpectedly in October 2019 from medical complications. We have friends who have become family who are eager to get a new “niece” or “nephew” to spoil and to love the way aunts and uncles do. We love spending holidays with our families. We dye eggs every Easter, we sing Christmas carols every December, and we watch the Thanksgiving parade together every year. We go on annual family trips to the Florida Keys to experience the beauty of our coral reefs.

Christine’s father lives a few hours away, ready to be the best grandfather. He loves to fish and can’t wait to have that special quality time only a grandfather can give. Ashley’s grandmother can’t wait to have another great-grandbaby to snuggle and love on. There are multiple aunts and uncles within a few hours’ drive to celebrate the accomplishments of our child. Your baby will feel so much love from the second they open their eyes.

What Led Us To Adoption

Christine’s father was adopted, so it has always been a passion to continue such an honorable tradition. When we decided to get married, we discussed our plans for expanding our family, and Ashley quickly agreed adoption was the right fit for us. We had planned on having a biological child first and then to adopt in the following years. After a few years of infertility, we were blessed with a beautiful baby boy! We cannot wait to complete our family through adoption, as it has always been part of our plans!
