We appreciate your taking the time to consider adoption. We are eager to provide a great and loving home for your child and we will make sure that your child knows how much family means to both of us. Our thoughts and prayers are with you as you go through this journey. If you choose us to be your child’s adoptive parents, we want you to know that we will strive to provide your child with every opportunity possible and give him our complete love and affection. You will always be regarded with great respect and love in our family and in our hearts for the gift that you have given us.
Adoption has been in our hearts since we first met. We look forward to starting our family with great excitement and giving the little one our unconditional love. We are confident in our decision and pledge to completely love your child as our own.
Your child will be loved, cared for, and watched over not only by us but also by our families. We are excited and nervous at the same time, but we also know that we are making the right move by adopting.
Thank you once again for considering us to be the adoptive parents for your child.
David and Don
We have been together for 9 years, and we have been married since 2013. David works in computer security and Don is a student. David was an athlete in college, playing on the offensive line for two years. Don served on active duty in the United States Marine Corps for four years and deployed to Iraq, Japan, Australia, and Africa.
Our hobbies include walking, hiking, gardening, movies, reading, playing with our two boxers (Lucy and Lola), woodworking, bike riding, yoga, Tai Chi, and more. We like to stay active in our community and we enjoy the company of our neighbors in our many activities. David speaks Spanish fluently and Don is learning Japanese.
Our neighborhood is culturally diverse with many new families. There are bike trails and walking paths near our home. We love to take our two dogs on walks around the neighborhood while visiting with our friends.
We live in a three bedroom home with two and a half bathrooms. Your child will have his own room and will spend lots of time playing in our large backyard. We spend our quality time in the den watching movies or cooking in the kitchen as a family.
Our Family Traditions
Don’s family is very close. He is the youngest of three with two older brothers. His oldest brother has two beautiful daughters. His mother and father, who are both retired, have been married for over 40 years. His family is very big on holidays and congregates often at his parents’ home for celebrations. Don’s dad has even been accused of going a little overboard on the holiday decorations on Christmas and Halloween! We all get together as often as possible to talk, laugh, eat and tell stories.
David’s family is also close; he is also the youngest of three with an older brother and an older sister. His brother and sister each have daughters who are the light of their lives. His mom and dad have been happily married for over 48 years and know how important is it to celebrate Christmas and holidays together. Each Christmas Eve, we gather at our favorite restaurant for a big supper together and enjoy sharing stories and catching up with one another. We want your child to experience that same family fun as well.
What Led Us To Adoption
We have both always known that we want children, and have completed an infant and toddler CPR class. We both came from big families and had such great childhoods and we will do our best to ensure that your child has the best childhood possible.
We pledge to offer our love, knowledge, support, and anything else necessary in order to prepare your child for the best possible future that we can provide.
