I don’t know you, but I admire you more than I could express. I can’t possibly imagine what you’re going through and how hard it has been as you make this decision. You have an amazing love for your child, as evident in your consideration of adoption. Life doesn’t always take us to our perfect destination. But with the right support, great things can happen. You are extremely brave and selfless. In considering adoption, you are putting your child’s needs above your own, which is an amazing display of character.
I appreciate that you have taken a moment to read this letter and to view my profile. I am honored that I was selected to be a part of this remarkable journey and can only hope that you would think of considering me. My daughter and I have a lot of love between us and we are very eager to share that love by expanding our family.
I imagine you are reading through several letters and profiles. Thank you for being so courageous through this process.
My name is Jennifer and I have a 16-year-old daughter who is very active. My daughter is very much looking forward to being an older sister. She has much to teach a sibling. We like to go to baseball games, to travel, and to go on walks with our dogs. Spending time with family and friends is part of our daily routine. We also like to spend a lot of time outside. We are lucky enough to have four seasons every year.
I work for a revenue cycle firm that performs billing and coding for physicians and hospitals. I am very happy with the career that I have chosen as it provides a lot of challenges on a daily basis. I am very driven personally and professionally, but I also have a sarcastic, humor side. Luckily enough, this has passed down to my daughter. It gives us a healthy balance!
We live in a three bedroom, very comfortable ranch home in Michigan. I have lived in Michigan all my life. This is where my family is. We reside in a quiet and friendly subdivision filled with lots of children. Our community is rich with museums, recreational centers, theater, and fun. Our school district is highly ranked – we are sixth in our state. We have two beautiful, loving, and charismatic Huskies that are full of life. They are devoted dogs, they love socializing, and they enjoy being with people.
My Extended Family
I am lucky enough to have an extremely supportive mother just 40 minutes away. I love her dearly. She was adopted and has had a very fulfilling life with her adoptive parents. My sister and her husband live very close to my mom. We all get together often. We love to spend time with each other. Every holiday we spend as a family. We enjoy all of our traditions, like dying Easter eggs and making Christmas cookies. We are a small family, but we are filled with lots of love. And we have room to grow.
I have an uncle in Illinois who is an identical twin to my late father, and I also have an aunt in Colorado. My cousin lives with her husband and two children in Tennessee. They are huge football fans, and we share a competitive college rivalry.
What Led Me To Adoption
I have always wanted a large family as long as I can remember. I am blessed to have a daughter of my own. I have desired more children, but I was not able to fulfill that desire biologically. I am fortunate enough to have a successful career, along with a loving family. I feel like my life has perfect balance, and I have amazing support. I am able to provide a loving and stable home for an extension to my family. I have been thinking about adoption for a very long time and have done a lot of research to know that this is the right decision for me.
