Dear Expectant Mother,
I am extremely grateful that you have chosen to view my profile. I can’t possibly imagine what you’re going through and how hard it has been as you make it through this decision process. It is evident to me that you have an amazing love for your child. Life doesn’t always take us directly to our perfect destination, but with the right support, great things can happen. You are extremely brave and selfless. In considering adoption, you are putting your child’s needs well above your own, which is an amazing display of character.
I am honored that I was selected to be a part of this remarkable journey and can only hope that you would think of considering me. My daughter and I have a lot of love between us, and we are very eager to share that love by expanding our family.
I imagine you are reading through several letters and profiles. I hope that you may consider taking a little extra time with me. Thank you for being so courageous through this process.
I’m Jennifer, and I work for a revenue cycle firm that performs billing and coding for physician offices and hospitals. I’m very happy with the career I have chosen, as it provides a lot of challenges on a daily basis. I am very driven, personally and professionally, but I also have a sarcastic as well as humorous side. Luckily enough, this has passed down to my daughter. It gives us a healthy balance! We like to go to baseball games, travel, and go on walks with our dogs. Spending time with family and friends is part of our daily routine. We also like to spend a lot of time outside, and luckily we live in a spot with four seasons every year!
We live in a very comfortable three-bedroom ranch home in Michigan. I have lived in Michigan all my life, as has my family. We reside in a quiet and friendly subdivision filled with lots of children. Our community is rich with museums, recreational centers, theater, and fun, and our school district is highly ranked, too. We have two beautiful, loving, and charismatic Siberian Huskies that are full of life. They are devoted dogs who love socializing, and they enjoy being with people.
My Extended Family
I am lucky enough to have an extremely supportive mother just 40 minutes away. I love her dearly. She was adopted as an infant and had an extremely fulfilling life with her adoptive parents. My sister and her husband live very close to my mom, as well, so we all get together often. I also have an uncle in Illinois who is an identical twin to my late father, an aunt in Colorado, and my cousin lives with her husband and two children in Tennessee. They are huge football fans, and we share a competitive college rivalry.
We love to spend time with each other, and every holiday is spent as a family. We enjoy all of our traditions, like dying Easter eggs and making Christmas cookies. We’re a small family, but we are filled with lots of love, and we have so much room to grow.
What Led Me To Adoption
I have always wanted a large family. I’m so blessed to have a daughter of my own and am forever grateful. I have desired more children but I was not able to fulfill that desire biologically. I am fortunate enough to have a successful career, along with a loving family, so I am able to provide a loving and stable home for an extension to my family. I feel like my life has a perfect balance, and I have amazing support. I have been embracing adoption for a very long time and have done a lot of research to know that this is the right decision for me.
