Dear Expectant Mother,
I cannot begin to comprehend this enormous decision that you are beginning to make. I know that it takes great courage, an enormous amount of love, and sacrifice for you to take this leap. Thank you for considering me as an adoptive parent for your precious child. The greatest joy of my life would be to provide a loving home for your child.
This beautiful decision that you are in the process of making leaves me in absolute awe and humility. I want you to know that I will always be grateful and appreciative of this wonderful gift that you are giving. I want you to know that I will do everything in my power to make sure your baby knows he or she is unconditionally loved. I will dedicate myself to making sure that all of his or her needs are met and that he or she is provided with a stable home, financial security, an education, and a safe place to grow into the amazing human I know he or she will become. I will make sure your child is surrounded by the love of family and friends.
I pray that you are surrounded by love and comfort as you consider an adoption plan for your child.
About Me

I am a hard-working, caring individual who always likes to look on the bright side. I have a wonderful career as a Freelance Costume Designer and Costume Shop Manager in the Pacific Northwest. I absolutely love my job and feel blessed every day to be able to make a living doing something I truly love. I feel like through my work in the theatre I have been able to foster a love of the arts and a curiosity to understand and explore human nature. When I am not busy, I spend my free time reading and watch movies. I spend time with my family and friends anytime I get the chance because they are most important to me.
My Home

Last year I became a first-time home buyer. I purchased a two-bedroom, one-and-a-half bath condo in a great area. It’s located near many wonderful amenities. I am close to a major transit system, a police station, and a large shopping center. I am within walking distance to a great local high school as well as close to some great private and public primary schools.
My Extended Family

My immediate family is comprised of my mom and dad and three younger sisters. We all live in various states on the western US. My three younger sisters are all married with children, so I make it a priority to visit everyone at least once a year. Another major support system for me is my best friend who I have known since middle school and her family, who live close to me. They have always treated me like a daughter and are always there for me when I need them.
I spend holidays with either my immediate family or my best friend’s family, and I always make time for any celebrations or outings. My family and best friend are very reassuring and positive in my desire to adopt. My mom and dad are so happy for this opportunity for me. They are so willing to help me out however I may need them.
What Led Me To Adoption

I have always wanted to be a mom for as long as I can remember. When I was younger I always thought that I would become a mother through the traditional steps of marriage. But that plan has not happened. So, as I have gotten older, I have explored the various options of how to make my dream come true. Throughout my exploration, I have made the decision that adoption was the right choice for me. I am excited for my adoption journey to begin and I am humbled by this opportunity. I cannot wait to welcome home a child that I can protect and help to grow into a wonderful individual.
