dear expectant mother

Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for taking the time to learn more about us. Although we haven’t met yet, we have an incredible amount of compassion and respect for you. We’d like you to know that if you choose us to parent your child, you can feel confident your baby will always be loved and cared for by a family that cherishes each moment together.

We promise to…
-Make sure your child knows how much you love him or her and understands their beautiful adoption journey.
-Love unconditionally and guide your child through all things in life, from their happy times to their scary and challenging times.
-Provide a loving and safe home surrounded by many friends and family that also care about them unconditionally.
-Support your child throughout their life by providing a good education, teaching hard work and ambition, and, most important, having fun through it all.

We have had so much love, support, and happiness, and we want to pass this along.

-Jodi & Alex

About Us

Hello! Thank you for taking the time to view our profile! Our hope is, you will find a connection with us, one that will give you peace during this difficult time. As long as we can remember, we have talked about being parents. We want to give your child the same experiences we loved growing up, such as swimming during the summer, going on family vacations, and getting help with homework. As you view a glimpse into our lives, we want you to know we are a family that loves music, traveling, and Chinese food. We believe in being loyal to others, we work hard, but we also enjoy life and having fun. We are ecstatic about growing our family and sharing our abundant love with a little one!

Fun fact about Jodi: “I am bilingual!”
Fun fact about Alex: “I love all things trivia!”

Our Home

We live in a three-bedroom home in a family-friendly neighborhood. There are several families with young children around us because of the high-rated schools in the area. We are within walking distance of a park that we love to visit frequently and look forward to bringing our child to someday. Our community is small but with all the opportunities of a larger city, such as shopping malls and unique local restaurants. We also have a children’s science, history, art, and sporting museum. We can’t wait to take your little one to the kid’s gym or hiking on the local trails with us.

Our Extended Family

Our loved ones are so excited for a new little one to enter the family! We all look forward to the memories we will make together. Jodi’s family and Alex’s grandmother live within 10 minutes from us, and we see each other at least once a week. We love to have cookouts, play boardgames, go shopping, and watch movies together. We also have many nieces, nephews, and cousins whom we are close to, and we always make time to see each other, especially for birthdays and holidays. Alex’s family lives in Florida, and we love going there for trips!

We are also “aunt and uncle” to many of our friends’ children. We love cooking and having dinners together, especially for Sunday football. We love seeing our home filled with love and laughter. Our group of friends cannot wait for our circle to grow!

Some of our traditions we can’t wait to include your child in are Friday night dinners with Jodi’s family, our huge New Year’s party every year with Alex’s family, slumber parties at Grandma’s house, and Sunday afternoon football viewing parties where all the children play together.

What Led Us To Adoption

Unfortunately, we are unable to have biological children, but that hasn’t stopped us from dreaming of having a family of our own. We have close friends who are adopted and others who have adopted as well, so we’ve seen firsthand how their lives have all been blessed by the miracle of adoption. We see adoption as a beautiful way to grow a family, and we want nothing more than to be parents!
