Dear Expectant Mother,
Thank you so much for taking time to learn about us and allowing us to share our heartfelt desire to expand our family! We are humbled by your courage and love for your little one as you consider adoption. We want to be able to give you hope and comfort as you consider the future for you and your child.
We are committed, if you choose us, to offering your child a positive atmosphere of honesty and openness. We believe it is important for a child to know that they have come into our lives because someone had the love and courage to provide them with the chance for a bright and happy future, full of people who will love and care for them. We would be honored to give your child a life of unconditional love, constant nurturing, and the encouragement to always dream big and to reach for those dreams.
We hope this has allowed you to see what makes us a special family that is ready to shower your child with love! If you choose us, we are committed to supporting you through this journey. Our home is filled with lots of love, laughter, and acceptance, and you will always be welcome and have a special place in our family, if that is your wish. We hope that you will feel comfortable to always be yourself around us. Every family has a story. We hope that you would like to be part of ours!
We met in 2009 through a social networking group and got married in 2013, making a forever promise of commitment, respect, love, and laughter. In 2016 we adopted our sweet and silly little boy, Maddox! Jordan is a compliance analyst, and her family-friendly company is excited to welcome another baby into the family. At home, she enjoys working in the yard and doing projects around the house. Mandy works as a nanny out of our home. She is grateful that she is able to be a major part of the children’s learning and growing process. Mandy loves painting, craft projects, and running. As a family, we enjoy exploring new places, biking around town, and spending time with our friends and family. We are a positive, supportive family with so much love to give. We laugh often, and there is never a dull moment in our house!
Our home is in North Carolina, only a few hours from the mountains and a short drive to the beach. We love our house because of its separate play space off of the living space for the kids. We have also added a playground to our fenced-in back yard. The paved trails close to our neighborhood lead to many family-friendly shops, play spaces, and educational venues. We enjoy spending a lot of time on our bikes exploring our town. Our community is very welcoming, which makes it a great place to raise a family! We take pride in our multi-culturally rich and artistic city. We are excited to open up our home, our family, and our hearts to you and your baby!
Our Extended Family
Jordan has family in North Carolina, both in the mountains and at the beach, and in New York City; we visit with them several times a year. Her nephew is excited at the prospect of having another cousin to play with! Mandy’s family is local, and we get to spend a lot of time with them. We enjoy our weekly visits with her extended family and playdates with her cousin’s children! Both of our aunts have beach houses, so we go visit them at the beach as often as we can.
We enjoy celebrating Easter and Independence Day at the beach with Mandy’s family. Every year her family and their beach community throw a big, family-friendly Fourth of July party and parade, which is so much fun for everyone! We generally spend Thanksgiving and Christmas at home. Jordan’s sister, brother-in-law, and nephew come down from New York City every other Thanksgiving to be with us. Christmas is our favorite holiday! It is a fun and magical time for our family. We are thrilled to be expanding our family and are looking forward to making many more magical memories together!
Our Adoption Story
Family means a lot to us. We both felt strongly from day one about adoption, not as something that we may do one day but as a matter of how and when. The adoption of our son was our proudest moment, and we know he is going to make such a good big brother! Jordan has two adopted cousins, and our son’s best friend is also adopted. Adoption has touched our lives profoundly. As our story begins a new chapter, we are further reminded of how much we value our life together and that devoting time to our family will always be our top priority. We believe that spending quality time together and maintaining open communication is what helps make us exceptional parents.
