Dear Expectant Mother,
Nothing we can say in this profile or letter could ever fully express our gratitude and joy that you would consider us as the parents to raise your baby; it is both a blessing and a truly humbling experience. We know adoption and choosing a potential family is a tough choice to make, but your gift of parenthood is incredibly noble and heroic.
We can’t wait to share the wonders and joys of life with your baby, from the big events like celebrating holidays and family vacations to the simple joys like picnics in the park, teaching him or her how to cook, or even walking them to class on their very first day of school—and everything else in between. Finally, we look forward to raising your baby in a home filled with love, laughter, and unwavering support.
Our promise to you is this: Your baby will always be showered with affection and he or she will grow up in a stable and loving home and will be raised to be compassionate and kind. But perhaps most importantly, your baby will always know their own story and where they came from. He or she will know your choice was made with the sincerest love a mother could give and that your loving choice is what finally made our family whole.
Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for your courage and your gift of parenthood.
After serving for seven years as an officer in the Army, Kevin recently left the military and has begun a new career as an engineer in the construction industry. Adam is currently pursuing an education and career as a filmmaker, while working at a local talent agency. We like to think of ourselves as the perfect pairing because we truly balance each other out. Adam is the creative yet extremely meticulous social butterfly, while Kevin is more logical and laidback. As a couple, we have overcome many trials and obstacles, such as military orders, several cross-country moves, career changes, and even the loss of loved ones. Despite any challenge put before us, our unconditional love, dedication, and support for each other has always carried us through, strengthening our bond and marriage.
For over a year we tirelessly searched for a home that would be the perfect fit for a growing family. In July of 2019 we finally bought and moved into our ideal “forever home” in a peaceful and picturesque southern California neighborhood. We fell in love with this neighborhood because of its serene setting, the family-friendly amenities and activities, and being able to envision our children growing up here. Not only does our community have its own elementary school just outside its gate but our city is also home to some of the very best schools in all of southern California. We can’t wait to welcome your baby into our home and to finally make our family complete.
Our Extended Family
Family is incredibly important to us. We’ve maintained close relationships with both of our families, including aunts, uncles, and cousins, all of whom are delighted at our adoption plan.
Despite being on opposite coasts, Adam speaks to his mother almost every day. She and Adam’s stepfather are tickled at the idea of finally becoming grandparents; they currently live in North Carolina but are strongly considering relocating to be closer to us and our growing family. They are unconditionally supportive and are ready to dote on their future grandchild.
We are also incredibly blessed that Kevin’s mother and father have moved to Southern California to live out their golden years with us in our home. They have their own suite downstairs so they can be an active and ever-present part of their grandchild’s life. It brings us such joy that your baby will grow up in a multi-generational household.
What Led Us To Adoption
Even in the infancy of our relationship we discussed the importance of starting a family. Knowing that we both wanted to be fathers one day, adoption has always been an essential part of our family planning and conversation. We’re both incredibly fortunate to come from close, loving families, and we are delighted that through adoption, we can finally continue and expand upon that love by establishing a family of our own. Finally taking the first step to becoming parents fills our hearts with so much love, joy, and hope. Even though this is just the very beginning of our first adoption adventure, we are so happy and grateful that YOU are a part of the journey and our family story.
