Dear Expectant Mother,
First and foremost, your strength and courage to consider an adoption plan for your baby is something to be admired. This isn’t an easy decision, and we can’t thank you enough for being willing to consider us to parent your child. We can’t imagine what you are experiencing but hope your pain will be eased by knowing your child will be loved by a family who has been patiently waiting for them.
Infertility has strengthened our marriage in so many ways but has left an empty space in our hearts. We will ensure that your child feels safe and loved every day of their life. Taking your child on family trips to the lake is something that we look forward to, along with so many other traditions we cannot wait to start. Please take comfort in knowing that he or she will be surrounded by a loving, strong, and supportive family.
Thank you for considering us in the biggest decision of your life. We will be forever grateful to you for giving us the most precious gift of all.
We have a loving and committed relationship that’s 12 years strong, and we have been married for almost seven of those years. Kevin works as a federal employee, and Amanda works as a federal IT contractor. We love to be goofy and laugh with family, friends, and total strangers. Kevin enjoys playing sports of any kind, cooking, and playing with the dogs, and Amanda enjoys golfing, listening to music while cleaning the house, and spending time with friends and family. Together, we are very passionate about our friends and family. We love to host dinners and barbecues, board game nights, and trips to baseball games to enjoy life with the people that we love. We enjoy traveling to new places, trying new foods, and watching baseball games.
We live in a four-bedroom home with a large backyard and a large grass area. Our home is located on a quiet cul-de-sac in a very child-friendly neighborhood, right around the corner from a great elementary school. We like to say we are in the middle of everything: we’re a short drive to the beach, the mountains, and the desert! We have two large dogs that are absolute sweethearts who are great with kids and love to play, and we have two playful cats that love to be around people, especially if you pet them!
Our Extended Family
Kevin has a relatively small family, with his mother being one of two children, and his late father being one of three. Kevin also has one older sister and one older brother. Amanda has a larger family, with her mother being one of six children, and her father, one of three. Our extended families share a lot of laughs together when we have family barbecues, birthdays, holiday gatherings, and family trips. We have hosted holiday gatherings to include both of our families for Thanksgiving and Christmas, which have resulted in memories that we’ll forever cherish.
We also have friends we consider our extended family as well. Our family friends are well known by our immediate families and participate in many of our family activities. We love to spend time with our immediate and extended family, playing games, sharing great food, and laughing until our stomachs hurt.
We can’t wait for your baby to meet our clan. They have so much love and support to give and are waiting with open arms to welcome a new member of the family.
What Led Us To Adoption
After struggling for several years with infertility treatments, we decided adoption was the best choice for us becoming parents and growing our family. We have seen the joy and happiness that adoption has given others in our lives and would love nothing more than to experience that joy ourselves. Adoption is the gift that will complete our family and make our dreams come true.
