Family Type: Gay
State we live in: Texas

dear expectant mother

Hello,

Thank you so much for giving us this opportunity to introduce ourselves and tell you about our family. We are grateful you love your unborn child so much you are willing to consider an adoption plan for him or her. Entrusting your child to someone else requires bravery, honesty, strength, and, most of all, love for your child. We hope you feel supported and loved during this journey.

We plan to honor and respect your relationship to your child by having open discussions, creating a life-book, and talking about you and your family. You are and forever will be your child’s mother, and they deserve to know that from an early age. We’re comfortable with whatever level of openness you’d like to have, whether exchanging photos, phone calls, emails, or visits.

We will involve your child in all aspects of our life; inspire creativity, individuality, and spirituality; and encourage dreams for their future. It is important to show our children how working hard helps achieve goals and having a sense of humor helps when things get tough.

We hope this is just the beginning of our collective journey. We hope to hear from you soon and that together we can form a bond as well as a plan to provide a safe and loving home for your child.

Sincerely,
Jason & Kyle

Entrusting your child to be raised by someone else requires bravery, honesty, strength and, most of all, love for your child. We hope that you feel supported and loved during this journey.

About Us

Our names are Jason and Kyle, and we are thrilled you are reading our profile. We like to think of ourselves as funny, intelligent, loving, and responsible people, and unless our family and friends have been lying to us all these years, we are not far off the mark. We both work for a major airline, so come fly with us and enjoy the flight. We met one summer day in 2013, and ever since that day, we have been inseparable and in love. In 2015 we got married, but Kyle, being from Texas, had to go big, so we had a big Texas wedding surrounded by family and friends. We love to travel all over the world and experience different cultures, local cuisine, and scenery, and working in the travel industry certainly helps.

Our Home & Pets

In 2020 we had a house built in the suburbs so we could escape the hustle and bustle of city life, but we’re still close enough to enjoy everything the city has to offer. Our neighborhood is pleasingly diverse in age, race, religion, and traditional and gay families, which makes it a great place to raise a family. We spend most of our time out on the patio watching our three fur babies—Baxter (min pin chihuahua), Bentley (mini schnauzer), and Bailey (mini schnauzer)—run around the yard saying hello to all who pass by. They are such a huge part of our family, bringing us so much joy.

Our Extended Family

Our families have taught us the most important things in life aren’t possessions but people, family, and loving others. Jason grew up in Alabama, and Kyle grew up in Texas, so it goes without saying that we have a little country in us. Some of our family members like to fish at all hours of the day, regardless if it’s cold and rainy. The closest we get to fishing is when we go to the fish market.

With our families combined, we have our parents and nine siblings spread out, living in Alabama, California, Oregon, New York, Texas, and Washington, which keeps us busy traveling. Not all our siblings are blood-related due to parents remarrying and close friendships that have turned into sibling relationships. We collectively have tons of aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews across the country, which makes for a lot of fun when we have family reunions. With large families, good banter makes for good family entertainment. We consider ourselves blessed with the families we have because we are all close, protective, and supportive of each other. It’s a great family to be a part of!

What Led Us To Adoption

We are humbled and proud of the life we share together and want so much to grow our family. For us, the choice to adopt was easy as Kyle’s mother and uncle and Jason’s sister-in-law were adopted, creating families filled with unconditional love and support. Both of our families’ philosophy of parenting starts with loving any child unconditionally and giving him or her a firm foundation of security and nurturing. We get excited about the endless things we will teach, the values we will instill, and the travel adventures we will share.
