Dear Expectant Mother,
I want to express how grateful I am to you for considering me as a potential mother for your child. I have wanted a baby for a very long time and know that it is not an easy decision to choose an adoptive mother. I want to be a blessing to any child by working to provide them with whatever they may need and keeping them in good health. I promise I will do everything I can to make sure your child is happy and safe. Part of the reason I picked the neighborhood I live in is because I knew it would be a good place to raise kids.
I want to invest in your child’s education so they will be prepared to do well in high school and college. During the summer, when school is out, I want to travel to fun places, such as the beach, mountains, and Disney World and to visit relatives so they can build happy memories.
I am very responsible and have mentored several young women, especially through job and relationship situations. I have several older aunts and female cousins who mentored me and would also be able to provide me with guidance and support.
Again, I promise to love and protect your child every day and in every way.
Hi, my name is Lisa, and I have wanted to adopt and raise a child for some time now. I went to college and worked professional jobs in engineering and financial services to build a foundation to raise a family. I love day trips to the mountains and exploring nature as well as going to family events. I look forward to taking my child on fun trips. I try to read a lot to keep up with changes in the world and to increase my personal knowledge. I would like to make sure the child I adopt gets plenty of learning opportunities as well. I integrate church and godly principles into my life to continue to improve myself and how I treat people. I think we are all one family under God and should treat others as we would want to be treated.
I live in a two-story brick house at the end of a cul-de-sac in the suburbs. My house has four bedrooms and 2 ½ baths with a nice private backyard where a child can play. There is an elementary school across the street and a daycare, middle school, and high school right around the corner. Across the road from my house is a YMCA with a nice waterpark for kids. My neighbors have lots of kids that would be able to play with your child. The neighborhood and street are safe and would be the perfect environment to raise a child.
My Extended Family
My extended family (aunts, cousins, uncles) has family reunions and holiday events every year. My cousins cook a lot of food for these events; they grew up on farms with gardens, so they are really good cooks. At July 4th and Christmas time, we all meet as a family, and there are about 60 dishes to choose from (chicken, beef stew, hot dogs, hamburgers, fresh vegetables, fish, cakes, pies, soups, breads, homemade ice cream, and about anything you can think of). They are very warm and loving women who enjoy feeding a lot of people. There are also little kids stretching to relatives all the way in their 80s. My family and friends feel like I would make a good mother and are very encouraging of me adopting a child. Many have already offered to babysit if needed.
What Led Me To Adoption
When I was a teenager, I hoped to adopt one day even if I had biological children. I was married, but the marriage ended without me having children. However, I still want to be a mother to a child and look forward to providing a child with a loving home. I have friends who have adopted as well as friends who were adopted who have told me their stories. I am ready to be a mother to a child and provide them with a loving home and good education. I have been a teacher and trainer in the past, and I will be supportive and involved as a child is learning in school and about the world.
