dear expectant mother

Thank you for taking the time to learn more about us. We are ready to give our unconditional love to a child and to expand our family through the miracle of adoption. We are filled with so many exciting thoughts and feelings surrounding this process, and we are thankful you have considered our profile. We both have had wonderful upbringings, and we pray you allow us to do the same for your child.

Even though we do not know you yet, we have a great amount of respect and admiration for you. We cannot truly understand everything you are going through, but please know we offer our sincere support and prayers. It is obvious the plan you are making is being made out of love, courage, and selflessness and that you are trying to make the best decision for your child. We have so much love to share with a child, and we are excited to have the opportunity to expand our family through adoption.

Hopefully you have an understanding of who we are as a couple and who we want to be as parents. We can’t wait to welcome a little person into our world, and we would be honored if you chose us to be the fathers of your baby.

About Us

We are both Midwest natives and come from loving, supportive families that have always encouraged us to pursue our dreams. Matt has a strong passion for nature and the environment, which led him to be the first in his family to graduate from college, after which he became an environmental engineer. Pete is a second-generation Italian American whose parents instilled a strong work ethic in him and always challenged him to achieve greatness. Pete is currently an IT project manager, but he is also a licensed barber and dreams of opening his own shop one day. We find pleasure in the simple things in life, especially spending time with the people we love. The best thing about our lives is that it doesn’t matter where we are or what we are doing as long as we are together.

Our Home

We recently built a two-story, four-bedroom home with approximately 3,500 square feet in a safe, family-oriented, suburban community with many nearby attractions, including parks, museums, nature preserves, zoos, and beaches. Our neighborhood is filling up with friendly couples that are just beginning their families, and we can’t wait to watch our children grow up together. We are excited to add love and excitement to our home with the addition of our first child. Our two extremely friendly Boston Terriers are excited to welcome a new child into our home too!

Our Extended Family

Family and traditions are very important to both of us. Pete’s parents are first-generation Italian Americans, and many of their cultural traditions have been preserved and are now being passed on to us. We love learning these traditions, such as making homemade tomato sauce and baking traditional Italian Christmas cookies, and we can’t wait to pass them down to our own child.

We both come from large families—12 siblings and nine nieces and nephews combined. Having large families means many birthday parties, baptisms, weddings, holidays, and other get-togethers, so there is never a dull moment. Both of our families are very excited for a child to join us and to create new wonderful memories together.

We attend a very welcoming church a few miles from our home. Our congregation feels like an extension of our family, and many in our church family have been praying faithfully for us during this journey and are very excited for us to adopt.

What Led Us To Adoption

In the nearly seven years that we have been together, we have built a very stable and wonderful life surrounded by our family and friends. Early on in our relationship, we discussed our desire to become parents, and we have decided the timing is finally right to begin the journey. We are proud of and happy in the life we share together and are ready to provide a loving home for a child where we can watch them grow and provide opportunities and adventures along the way.
