Dear Expectant Mother,
We want to start by saying thank you. Thank you for taking the time to read about our life and for considering us to be prospective parents to your baby. Thank you for being courageous and brave and for considering this generous and selfless act. Thank you for showing us what it means to be caring and supportive parents. While we may never know exactly how this makes you feel, please know we are both very committed and loving men who look forward to raising a child with unconditional love, support, and encouragement throughout their entire life.
We are very excited about the possibility of having a family, and we can’t wait to share our life experiences with your baby. This child will be loved not only by us but by everyone in our lives and will always know what the meaning of a strong family is. We look forward to creating a life full of love, laughter, activities, games, recitals, homework, relationships, graduations, and more with your child and raising him or her to value diversity and respect, be generous with their love, show pride in themselves and the ones they love, and always remember where they came from.
Not a day will go by without us thinking highly of you and your generous decision. We can’t thank you enough.
Jeremy is originally from Louisiana, and Max is a true Texan. We met each other over six years ago and instantly knew we were meant for one another. We both come from hard-working and supportive families that instilled strong values in us that we still live by today. We are both very passionate about our friends and family and make it a priority to spend quality time with them. We love doing odd jobs around the house together, exploring new cities, hosting dinner parties, supporting local markets, or just simply relaxing and catching up on the latest tv shows. Jeremy has worked in the insurance industry for over 15 years, while Max took on a performing arts career before recently making his way into the digital marketing industry.
Shortly after our wedding, we moved into our newly built home, which is centrally located in a family-friendly neighborhood in Texas. We have three bedrooms with 2.5 baths and a generous outdoor retreat that is perfectly suited for our growing family, including our two sweet miniature schnauzers. We enjoy the ease of walking to nearby restaurants, parks, shops, and outdoor markets and can’t wait to go for walks down the local trail with our new addition.
Our Extended Family
Family always comes first for us. We always make time to be with both sides of our family during every holiday, birthday, life event, cookout, or dinner party. Whether it’s aunts, uncles, cousins, sisters, parents, or even distant relatives, we always enjoy having everyone come together to play games, eat great food, and celebrate our family traditions.
Jeremy’s relatives live in Louisiana, and Max’s relatives are a little more spread out in Texas, Ohio, and England. We like to take trips each year to visit our relatives all over the world and can’t wait to share these experiences with our growing family.
Christmas is our favorite time of the year as it’s not only spent with the usual traditions but it’s also Jeremy’s birthday. We typically start the day by opening up presents and digging through stockings, and then we prepare a traditional English roast for lunch, including crackers and paper crowns. The day usually ends with a hot pot of gumbo, fun games, and birthday cake (chocolate of course). It’s a fun day we look forward to every year, not only to spend time with friends and family but to focus on celebrating everyone’s traditions and cultures together.
What Led Us To Adoption
We both grew up surrounded by loving family members, and from the moment we met, we knew having a family of our own was a quality we both shared. After getting married in 2018, we began to research our options to start a family as we knew we were ready to become parents. We quickly found the path of private adoption was not only going to help fulfill our dreams but also those for the mother we get the opportunity to work with.
